T.G.I.F. Ah yes…made it just in time for the weekend! This was no easy feat. Before I get on with the usual discussion about the songs on this mix, I want to bring up a few things.
First, there’s only a few days remaining to get your vote in for the way you prefer the mixes to be delivered. You can cast your vote just to the right of this post.
2nd, for those of you who apparently haven’t figured it out yet, when it says Disc 1/2, that means there are two discs in this collection. Disc 1/2 is the first download and when you scroll down somewhere in the middle, you will find Disc 2/2, or the second download for that mix. I only brought this up because a whopping number of you jumped all over my Electro-Tech Edition, but only half downloaded the second one. Therefore, I’m guessing many of you aren’t aware of the second mix. Now, if it says Disc 1/1, well that means there is only one download for that mix. It can happen, so just be mindful of that fact.
3rd, I made this blog at the urging of friends. Often I found I was just giving the mixes away. So, I thought this would be cheaper and less time consuming. On the contrary, not only does it take up more time, but costs more money as well. When you figure in the costs for music, bandwidth, storage etc. this ain’ t cheap. Especially for someone who’s been without a job since May. I guess no one wants to higher a cripple. So be it. I’ll figure something out. So, if you think you could start showing a little more love I’d certainly appreciate it. After just being turned down for another high paying job, right now, I need about all the love I can get.
I’ll tell you what…anyone that leave’s a constructive comment, whether about the music or anyway that I could improve this site (positive or negative…just keep it within reason and no blah, blah, blah) at the end of this post, let’s say by January 20th, will be entered into a drawing for a genuine copy of any mix of your choosing I’ve made this year; shipped anywhere in the world for free! That’s right, the full double CD with artwork and all. My discs aren’t cheap; they look better than that crap you spend $20 on in the stores and sound better to boot! There will be 3 winners which will be announced on Monday and I’ll email you for shipping instructions. (Sorry, personal friends are not eligible for the drawing).
Now, on with the music! Welcome to the first Winter Edition of the Party Favorz series. Usually I wait till spring for the next circuit mix, but as mentioned in earlier posts, there’s way too much great music out to just sit on until then. I fully expect February to be kinda quiet, so I’m thinking about cooking up some classic mixes from the late nineties and early millennium. I’ll provide more details on that a little later. For now…
Enjoy!
Track : 1 Title : You Get Down (Original Mix) Artist : Tony Moran feat. Catherine Russel
Yes, taken from “The Event”, the album that just keeps on giving, and giving, and giving….
Track : 2 Title : My Life Again (Lenny B. Club Mix) Artist : Lauren Hildebrandt
Slew of mixes for this song. I included the funky “Avalon Superstar Mix” on my Party Favorz 2008: Funky Edition v1. Lenny works his magic like no other!
Track : 3 Title : The Flame 2008 (Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Club Remix) Artist : Erin Hamilton
I see a lot of people have the Offer Nissim version in their set lists. I just don’t get it…he doesn’t do much with the song that he hasn’t done before. Frankly, it sounds more like a dub. Moran & Rigg really held back on this one, while retaining that classic hook courtesy of Cheap Trick from back in the day. Even the original Solar City captured that same feeling; though, I wasn’t feeling their updated 2008 mix. Jose Spinn also turns it out on his mix.
Track : 4 Title : It Had Better Be Tonight (Eddie Amador Club Mix) Artist : Michael Bublé
What can I say, I enjoy a little Michael now and then. Had the original disco version on my Party Favor 2007: Funky Edition v3. Eddie Amador turns in a very circuit friendly version for those moments when the boys wanna just stop and do a little tango.
Track : 5 Title : Until The End Of Time (Johnny Vicious & DJ Escape Remix) Artist : Justin Timberlake & Beyoncé
Not the biggest fan of the original, but there were a couple of versions that made this song better than what it actually is. Vicious and Escape did just that!
Track : 6 Title : The Boss (Tracy Young’s Big Club Mix) Artist : Kristine W
If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a HUGE Kristine fan. I’ve been waiting for two years for this amazing cover. Expect even more mixes out by the end of the month and the official CD just before Valentine’s Day. Betcha my last nickel one of those mixes will show up on my Spring Edition.
Track : 7 Title : Freedom (Original Mix) Artist : Tony Moran feat. Nicki Richards
…and giving, and giving…seriously. Really enjoy this song. Basically, a pumped up Brokeback Mountain with the ever awesome Nicki Richards providing the vocals. Now, if you don’t know who she is, we should definitely revoke your platinum gay card or at least downgrade it to gold!
Track : 8 Title : Away From Me (Altar Big Room Mix) Artist : Altar feat. Amannda
I did this mix so fast, I didn’t really have the time to give this a full listen. I just drop in somewhere in the middle of the song and decide whether I’m feelin’ it or not. After Altar’s amazing turn with Jeanie Tracy, how could I go wrong? I went back and fully listened…I didn’t !
Track : 9 Title : Me (Rosabel’s Anthem Mix) Artist : Tamia
I’d like to say the DJ gods sent this to me through email (it’s happened before), but that just wasn’t the case. Everybody’s been salivating over the prospect of this coming out. Actually 8:00+ minutes lifted from the current “Alegria Universo”, there was more than enough to create an intro and outro. Sorry Ralphi, but you can’t sit on something this hot for two long.
Track : 10 Title : No, No, No (Friscia & Lamboy Vocal Mix) Artist : Ono
When will the madness stop!?!! Another Yoko Ono remake? I’m kidding. Actually the best was the first mix “Walking On Thin Ice” by Danny Tengalia. I think this song is a lot of fun, and would have really loved to hear the Cube Guys sink their teeth into it. With lyrics like “Take my blouse off? No No No!” Funny considering this…
Track : 11 Title : Love Like This (Johnny Vicious Vocal Club Mix) Artist : Natasha Bedingfield
Looks like she’s going to be more successful than her one hit wonder brother. While not as “hooky” as the Wamdue Projects mix of “The One That Got Away” a few years back, Vicious still turns in a floor filling satisfier.
Track : 12 Title : Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart (Eddie Baez Club Remix) Artist : Lori Jenaire
Another song people have been salivating over. Thank God for Perfect Beat and their ability of provide us with a disc. Not really sure what it is about Eddie. His shit is so fragging hard to find; and if you do find it on Itunes, then it’s a radio edit. You never see any of his work on any of the legal download sites. His output isn’t as much as his contemporaries, but when he does release something, it’s a killer!

Track : 1 Title : Destiny (Cotto’s Destiny Club Mix) Artist : Amber Rose
I haven’t the slightest clue as to who Amber Rose is. Honestly, I could look her up, but just don’t have the time. All I can say is she can sure belt it out with the best of ‘em and Norto Cotty turns it inside out!
Track : 2 Title : Ghetto (Junior Vasquez In Da Club Mix) Artist : Kelly Rowland
Probably some of the best solo work Junior has done in some time. Gotta give the guy his dues; he’s been working the scene since many of you were in diapers. Only wish there were more vocals on this mix. He also collaborated with DJ Gomi for a Deep House version which slams! Definite must for my next Deep Edition.
Track : 3 Title : Piece Of Me (Edson Pride Club Mix) Artist : Britney Spears
With the exception of the “Bimbo Jones Mix” which appears on my Party Favorz 2008; Electro-Tech Edition, I wasn’t totally moved by the remaining mixes (official or otherwise). While Vasquez & Vicious turn in a decent enough mix, I wasn’t feelin it like “Gimme More”. Friscia & Lamboy do a decent job, but it was a little to techy for my taste. Since I’ve never used an Edson mix, I decided to give him the honors. He turns in circuit satisfier while retaining the integrity of the song.
Track : 4 Title : Pack Your Bags (Ralphi Rosario Club Vox Mix) Artist : Leana
Hate is a a strong word, but I’ve hated this song since it’s debut late last year. From Dave Aude’s cutesy mix to the rather bland Chris Cox mix, I just couldn’t get into it. Finally, Ralphi delivers what I think this song needed all along; a more pumpin sound.
Track : 5 Title : Show You (The Cube Guys Dub Remix) Artist : Massi & Deleon pres. Breathwaite
As mentioned in earlier posts, the Cube Guys can do virtually no wrong. Just having your name on a mix get’s you an automatic consideration. They don’t disappoint with this little dub number.
Track : 6 Title : Apologize (Peter Rauhofer Reconstruction Mix) Artist : Timbaland pres. One Republic
One of the hottest songs in the country get’s a re-work by none other than Rauhofer himself. Certainly better than the majority of his output as of late. Maybe he’s finally coming to the realization that no one is feeling his work anymore. I’m not sure what’s going on with him. Most of his mixes of late seem to get lost and never return. Does anyone remember his mix of Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right”? Does anyone care? Remember what I’ve always said: It’s about the HOOK first and then the mix. In other words, find the hook; if it doesn’t exist, then create it. Then proceed with the mix. Follow that advice and you’ll reel them in. Ultimately, I’m happy that he did this mix, because it still shows he has that magic. Now if we could just get him, Calderone & Kupper back together for a “Club 69″ reunion, that would be outstanding!
Track : 7 Title : Don’t Hold Back (Moran, Jody DB & Rigg NY Dance Mix) Artist : Tatiana Okupnik
At first, I wasn’t going to put up any videos for this post, but since this is the only mix from Tony that’s NOT taken from “The Event”, I thought I would make an exception. Apparently, taken from her debut album from last year, Polish singer Tatiana is nothing short of fragging HOT! Expect to be hearing this through Pride in June.
Track : 8 Title : Hot Shot (Ralphi Rosario & Craig J Remix) Artist : Karen Young
Well it’s about time someone had the good sense to remix this song. Karen Young was an amazing singer, very much in the vein of Kristine W. Sadly, this was to be her only major hit, but a memorable one it was! Here’s a brief bio:
Karen Young (March 23, 1951-January 26, 1991) was a disco singer best known for her hit “Hot Shot”. Well-known for her ability to scat-sing and deliver vocals with ferocious energy, Young was also a gifted pianist and songwriter.
Karen Young grew up in a Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania rowhouse. Before becoming an overnight international recording star with “Hot Shot,” she recorded jingles and background vocals for Philadelphia-based production companies. She died unexpectedly of a bleeding ulcer.
The song “Hot Shot” peaked at #67 on Billboard Magazine’s Hot 100 in 1978, but spent two weeks at #1 on the magazine’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, thus qualifying Young as a bona-fide one-hit wonder. “Hot Shot” was written, produced and arranged by Philadelphians Andy Kahn and Kurt Borusiewicz. An LP entitled “Hot Shot” followed the hit single, both released by West End Records of NYC. “Hot Shot” was featured in the 1990 movie “Reversal of Fortune.” The song was later used as a sample in Daft Punk’s song “Indo Sliver Club” on their album Homework. “Hot Shot” re-mixes by Andy Kahn, MaxRoxx Music and DJ Ralphi Rosario were released in 2007. Track : 9 Title : Give It (Friscia & Lamboy Salvation Club Mix) Artist : X-Press 2
What can I say…my song of the moment. Take out the talking, leave in the church choir, and I feel like someone is preaching to me. “Give it…just a little more time”.
Track : 10 Title : Beautiful (Hex Hector Vocal Mix) Artist : Taylor Dayne
Always love me some Taylor. Not to say that I wasn’t disappointed by last year’s “I’m Not Featuring You” because I was. I must say, Taylor is back and in fine form here. Adding Hex and his recent come back of sorts and you’ve got a winning combination. Bitch and half to mix though…lol!
Track : 11 Title : Gorgeous (Tracy Young Remix) Artist : Idina Menzel
These lady’s need no introductions. Idina and Tracy were in my Party Favorz 2007: Mainstream Club Year-End Edition. Another winning mix with Tracy behind the wheels. Don’t forget about the contest to win Idina’s new album “Brave” over at Modern Fabulosity.
Track : 12 Title : Just Fine (Scotty K Vocal Klub Mix) Artist : Mary J. Blige
You know, I could have just as easily slid in the awesome “Moto Blanco” mix right here. I chose not to; not only because it was already featured on Party Favorz 2008: Funky Edition v1, but because I really want to give Scotty K a chance. He’s still relatively new and has probably delivered one of his best mixes yet. Scotty’s problem is overproduction. He usually delivers everything over the top, with little breathing room. He also needs to find the hook in the song and try to work around that. Honestly, I think he’s well on his way. He’s already technically proficient in production, now he just needs to find his style. Well done, Scotty.

One thing about 2008 is that the song always remains the same, at least for me. Seriously, I am a walking disaster. We all know that “things” happen to all people, but they happen more often than not to me. In every aspect of my life, it seems I have to deal with more friggin issues on a daily basis than most. Everyday is truly a new day for me where I wake and wonder what can possibly go wrong today…LOL. Of course, my latest misadventure is my computer. Working great one day, and the next morning NOT. Vista decided it would no longer boot up. So I popped the disc in only to find that my DVD player would not recognize it to complete a system restore. Several tests later, I determined the player was no longer working. To add insult to injury, my 1tb external backup from Maxtor decided it too would no longer boot up. I’ve since gone back to the poky Windows XP, which by all accounts is reliable and doesn’t require a DVD burner to install. I was able to bring up my Maxtor hard drive and ran a retrieval software on it (Get Back which is worth almost every penny I paid several years ago) and was able to retrieve most of my software and it looks like about a third of the club tracks (sigh) but I’ve lost all of my passwords from Roboform, all of my pictures and all of my cover art I created for Surething (my CD/DVD labeler) (double sigh). Though I only did a quick scan, it’s usually pretty accurate. Nevertheless, I’ll run a deep scan which will take most of a day once I receive my new backup hard drive and DVD burner next week. I’m keeping my fingers crossed about getting some of this stuff back, but I’m not overly optimistic. Luckily, the 4th installment of the Year-End edition I had already completed was stored on a different drive (I have 4) and was not lost. In fact, the remaining tunes are there as well. My plan is to get another mix up later today, though it will be very long. I’m going to go ahead and take the four remaining mixes and cut them down to two by combining them. I know some of you don’t like these ultra long mixes, but I have no other choice. I want to have everything wrapped up by tomorrow so I can enjoy my New Year’s celebrations and then go on a long break from the blog. I’ll go into more detail about my sabbatical tomorrow. I’ll be back later today with the 5th installment. Until then…ENJOY!

The first year of this site was not without controversy and difficulties. Certainly finding my way through the different host providers before settling on Podbean was no easy task. Then the layout changes which went through three facelifts before I finally settled on the current look. Expect that to change again in 2009 (maybe just the colors, but you never know with me). Then I had the controversy over Beatport discontinuing their association with this site. Perhaps my initial post got convoluted into two separate thoughts and I should have kept it focused. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped idiots like that nut job Kelly from San Francisco from criticizing the post without actually reading the whole thing. Then she/he goes onto say that “I’m really gay”…well, duh! I am not a prejudice person, but I cannot stand “stupid” people. By that, I mean people that speak out of the side of their mouth and don’t know what the f!@# their talking about. Actually, my request to boycott Beatport has apparently spread to other venues. Just run a Google search on “boycott Beatport” and it certainly looks like other people have a legitimate gripe about them as well. Like I said, once you get to big for your britches, you become cocky.
Then there was the whole flap from one of my longtime favorite artists, Amber. Apparently she and her people were Googling her latest track “No More Tears” to see if anyone was sharing it. Folks, have you ever run a Google search for something, anything…and then you go to the site the search results tell you it’s on, only to find that it’s not? That’s because Google indexes everything, including the links on your site; meaning that other people’s content that is linked from your site will show up in your results. Now, had Amber spent a little time on my site, she would have seen that I don’t share individual songs. In fact, I plainly provide an email address for anyone to communicate with me (as other artists have sent their praise and thanks, though Sean Ensign wanted me to correct the title of his latest…my bad). Instead, she wrote a very nasty message in my Cbox, which naturally pissed me off. So, I wrote a very negative review about her release, which in turn drew the ire of all the Amber Anti-Christ’s on DJ Rico’s message board. After several exchanges and her brother-in-law from Canada trying to have my domain revoked, they emailed an apology for their mistake. I subsequently changed the review I gave, in which I thought was fair, though I didn’t sing it’s praises. While I still have a very bad lingering taste in my mouth from the whole incident, I am still a HUGE fan of Amber and hope that future releases from her will be worthy of my support. Of course, I’ll ask permission before using any of those releases in a mix.
Whoever said running a blog was easy is full of cow dung. It’s a lot of work for sure. Nevertheless, I enjoy it despite the countless hours trying to learn HTML so I could have things exactly as I wanted. Trust me, if you’re an obsessive-compulsive or anal retentive like me, and you are not schooled in web design or code, you might want to consider something else…LOL. Oh well, you live you learn and then move on from there.
Enjoy!

In February, I declared that 2008 was the year of the diva. To that point, it definitely was but the results were a mixed bag. We had new material from Mary J. Blige, Janet “Ms. Jackson” if you’re nasty, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Kylie, Beyoncé, Donna Summer, Kristine W and the diva in waiting Leona Lewis. Even Cher who has been reclusive for the past several years is now regularly performing in Las Vegas and a newly toned Tina went back on tour. True to her diva status, It appears Whitney will keep us waiting until early 2009. I guess she had to clear the lot of what she considers “diva wannabe’s” before gracing us with new material. After all, it is ALL about Whitney and no one else. With Clive Davis taking the helm and holding her hand, let’s hope for some outstanding material; especially since the duet with Akon (gag) which was recently released on the net sucked straws. As for the rest of the aforementioned group, the results weren’t always spectacular. Ms. Blige certainly delivered another inspiring if not uplifting song in “Just Fine” but little else. Janet just fizzled all together, through no fault of her own. Ever since “Nipple Gate” radio has been very resistant to playing her music. Mariah delivered a predictable if not rather soft album. “Touch My Body” was cute, but the mix by Seamus Haji single-handedly saved it. Despite criticism of her new musical direction by longtime fans, Madonna had her first top 10 hit in God knows how long and her worldwide album sales were as stellar as ever. Of course, we all know the money is in touring and her “Sticky and Sweet” tour has been a global success and will likely once again be the largest money earning tour of the year. On the other hand, Kylie’s “X” didn’t fair so well. Released six months after the international debut, her label tried to market her in the urban arena to U.S. audiences. I’m sorry, but if there is anything Kylie is not, it isn’t krunk. Thankfully, we got stellar remixes by Mark Picchiotti and Freemasons (without the rap) so it wasn’t a total loss. Donna Summer turned in a solid album showcasing her diversity, but sales fizzled after the first week and failed to deliver a hit for her. Longtime fans such as myself are still hoping that she comes back with an album produced by some of the hottest production teams of the moment like 7th Heaven, Moto Blanco, Freemasons and DJ Meme to name a few. They have a proven track record of taking old skool and making it relevant for today’s audience. If she takes my advice, she’ll be back on top, guaranteed. Kristine W gave us a remake of the classic Diana Ross track “The Boss” that had asses shaking from the U.S. to Australia. She pretty much rode that song most of the year and didn’t follow up with her next single “Never” until the end of November, which is already riding high on the DJ Escape and 7th Heaven mixes. Let’s hope she finally delivers her much anticipated album “The Power of Music” sometime early in 2009; her fans have been waiting patiently for well over a year now. Beyoncé took a small risk with her first release “If I Was A Boy” and quickly followed up with “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”. Both did extremely well, but the mixes were not up to par with her previous material. Regardless, I fully expect she’ll continue her success well into the new year. Then we have last year’s UK “Pop Idol” winner, Leona Lewis. All I can say is WOW! She’s had massive worldwide success with her debut album and the remixes were simply amazing! I look forward to continued success from her debut well into the next year.
Overall, the year of the diva delivered on several fronts and failed in many others. We always want to see our divas deliver the goods, but if we can only get a single worthwhile song out it, we’ll take it. Now, let’s clear the room because Ms. Houston is about to make her grand entrance.

As 2008 comes to a close, it is time for the Year-End Edition. This has been a landmark year for Party Favorz in that it’s also my one year anniversary on the net. Considering how much work is involved in maintaining this site, I surprised myself. I really didn’t think I would have made it this long, but I guess you never know. I just upgraded my Podbean account to accommodate the mixes that were removed during the year. I hope to have all the links restored by the end of January. As a result, my costs have gone up significantly and I am asking that everyone that is able, consider making a $5 donation to help offset those costs. I realize more than anyone that the economy is in the tank and times are tough all around, but think of this is a cheap investment in your own entertainment. The way I figured it is that if all of my 150+ subscribers each contributed a one-time small donation, I could cover my costs for an entire year! Though it’s never mandatory, it would really help this site out a great deal. I do want to thank our good friend Discoball for his contributions over the course of the year and our newest member Peter for his kind words and contribution as well.
Enough of my ringing the Salvation Army bell outside of Walmart, on to most important part…the music. First, I want to say my predictions for this year sort of came true. Pop music is slowly moving towards the electro sound as evidenced by Rihanna, Christina, Britney and even Cyndi’s latest effort. It’s not only because it’s what’s in at the moment, but because DJs coming up through the ranks are eighties kids. Remember what I said, everything is cyclical and it’s now the 80’s turn. That’s not to say that 70’s old soul and disco have been discarded, because they haven’t. For that matter, people are still digging out the 60’s and making it cool again; you don’t need to look any further than Duffy whose “Rockferry” album is in my top ten favorites for the year.
More importantly, we saw several production teams come to the forefront and moved ahead of the pack; namely Soul Seekerz and 7th Heaven. Their output this year has been nothing short of stellar and they’ve given Freemasons and Moto Blanco a serious run for their money. We’ve also seen Jody Den Broeder continue his winning streak as DJ and producer even if he flubbed Madonna’s “Give It 2 Me”. A source close to him admitted that he didn’t have a lot of time to put it out and was very nervous and/or concerned when putting it together. Nevertheless, he more than made up for it with mixes for Rihanna (Disturbia), Sirens (Club La La) and Dave Aude (Grass Is Greener) among several. Equally, the DJ Escape, Klubjumpers and Twisted Dee have had a stellar year and have worked themselves into the elite “DJs Most Wanted List”. No doubt their success will continue into 2009. We witnessed Mark Picchiotti, whose been around for some time, seemingly pick up his game to become one of the “in demand” producers of the year. His work with Kylie was amazing and his own “Turn It Up” under his Basstoy moniker was one of the year best! To cap it off, the guy is frigging HOT! If you haven’t been over to his MySpace page, you ought to check him out. Finally, one of my heroes DJ Meme has really stepped up his game. This guy has really taken old skool disco to new heights, complete with swirling strings and big diva vocals that are not only raising awareness, but demanding attention. I fully expect 2009 to be a big year for him.
I’m not sure just how many mixes this will turn out to be. I’ve already separated out all the songs I plan on using. It’s likely I forgot something, but I did my best considering that only two of you submitted your requests. As promised, Lady GaGa and Katy Perry will not be found on any of these mixes. It’s not that they don’t deserve it, I was just so sick of them before they even hit it big. In fact, top 40 radio here in Atlanta has only now started playing “Just Dance”. Luckily, I don’t listen to the radio that much. The majority of my picks are comprised of songs that I really liked this year and had nothing to do with charts. If I had to rely on Billboard, then half the songs wouldn’t have even been included. If you believe a recent DJ Bill Bennett post, you have to pay several thousand dollars to get listed in Billboard’s charts. After learning about Beatport’s requirements to get promoted on their site, I tend to believe it. That would explain several songs reaching the top spot that are mediocre at best and others that don’t even belong in the top 20 (just listen to the crappy remixes for Nikka Costa’s “Stuck To You” currently sitting in the top 20 and you’ll get my point). Frankly, I think this violates federal anti-racketeering laws under the Ricco statute, but I’m not even going to go there. Maybe at some point, someone will have the balls to clean this mess up, but it isn’t going to be me and my lowly blog.
You’ll notice that the first several mixes will lean heavily towards the original Party Favorz series, while the second batch will lean more towards the Electro-Funk, Deep and House editions. I was originally going to mix everything up, but decided at the last minute that it might put a drag on the mix. After all, this is not just a timecapsule in dance music for 2008, it’s for pure enjoyment. So, between now and the end of the year, I’ll be posting a different mix each day or until I’m done.
At this point, I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas, enjoy yourself wherever you are. Peace.

It looks like there wasn’t enough for a 4th mix, so this will be the final installment of the Holiday Edition. There’s some tough love going on in this mix, perfect for your peak hour enjoyment. Watch out for the Nicki Richards tune; quite possibly the first anthem for 2009. Another one I’m really getting into is Sweet Feet Music feat. Soul Sista Shakti with Jeanie Tracy & Pepper Mashay “Maybe God Is Tryin’ To Tell You Somethin’”. Packed with exceptional mixes from start to finish, there’s not a bad mix in the bunch. I don’t know what it is but there’s something about Gays, God and Gospel that melds together really well. Expect a Klubjumpers remix as part of a 2nd round of mixes in early January. Speaking of Klubjumpers, check out the ultra HOT remix they turned in for the classic “I Can’t Get No Sleep 2008″ by India. Careful, you may burn yourself in the process. All together, this is one solid set from start to finish. You’ll notice a little bonus at the end of the mix by Kristine W. Just a little Christmas somethin’ somethin’ for those of you traveling this year to your holiday destination. I’ll be wrapping up a Christmas present for the House heads which I’ll deliver on Christmas Eve and day. Until then, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, however you may celebrate it. Take care and I’ll be back at the end of next week for a series of year-end mixes to round out the year. From my house to yours…Merry Christmas and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
