Circuit Anthems & Gay Pride Classics Volume 2

Back on board with part 2 of Circuit Anthems & Pride Classics with a couple of bootlegs from past Pride years. Barry's recent epic re-work of the Jim Steinman classic Total Eclipse of the Heart sung by Bonnie Tyler is so f@cking HUGE, I couldn't help myself. The same could be said about the Chris Cox remix of Christina's Hurt. There is more drama kicking this set off, General Hospital should step aside please. Hex Hector closes this set out with the fabulous Harem by Sarah Brightman (one of my ALL-TIME favorites). The woman puts on an amazing show and is absolutely mesmerizing in concert. The lush middle eastern treatment Hex spins on the original while making it club-friendly is one of his most notable if not infamous feats in production. I've got two more of these plus something a bit newer and fresher for the final Pride set going up next week. So if you're feeling these, be sure to be on the lookout. I'm also putting the finishing touches on the next Mixtape called Summer Chill that I'm so giddy about, it may make an early appearance on this site as opposed to the July 4th holiday release I had planned.
