Deep Edition 2008 Volume 9 [Take 1]

We're halfway through the summer deep series, and it feels like I'm just getting started.  While I like all of these mixes for various reasons (usually mood), I have to say this mix really packs a punch with back-to-back top-notch tunes.  That's right, no HHH ½ filler here.  Oftentimes, the mixes are only as good as the song selection. Granted, wading through 500+ songs and narrowing it down to a fraction of that amount is no easy task.  I typically don't spend much time previewing.  I'll drop in the song towards the beginning and then skip to the middle.  I hit the delete button if the song hasn't grabbed my attention by that point.  Yeah I know, I can be tough and may even be bypassing a gem, but it's a system that has served me well and this mix only proves that. I'll be previewing the 4th and final volume this morning as I head out the door with my husband.  We've been reduced to a one-car family at the moment, so I take him to work out of town.  That's okay.  It gives me a chance to listen to the mixes before giving my final stamp of approval.  Based on preliminary previews, I do believe the final installment is equally HOT!
