Deep Edition 2008 Volume 9 [Take 2]

Welcome to the weekend wrap-up as I submit to you the final installment of the Deep series.  One of the things I enjoy most about making this edition is the ability to throw in whatever I'm feeling at any given moment.  Some of the past Deep Editions were a more soulful deep house, while others were eclectic falling anywhere between funk, acid jazz, deep house, tech house, and/or soulful. Clearly, this series has been more on the progressive side of the coin.  This mix starts out hitting hard before lowering the tempo a bit and keeping the overall feel somewhere in the middle.  I managed to combine progressive, tech, electro house, and even a trance tune for good measure.  Overall, I'm very pleased with the end result and hope you are too. Next week is Madonna's 50th birthday, and there will be a slew of celebrations from coast to coast and worldwide.  In honor of this milestone in her life, I put together a megamix showcasing various music and styles throughout her 25 years in the industry.  I know it's all been done before (even by me) but I plan to take it in directions that no one ever has.  At least not that I ever heard in the countless Madonna mixes all over the Internet.  So get prepared, because the party is just getting started.
