Well, I woke up this morning to some people banging on our neighbor's door screaming for the "bitch" to let her in. "That's my shit!" she was yelling. With all the break-ins, car vandalism, and our upstairs neighbors stomping on the floor or moving around furniture morning, noon and night, we've pretty much had enough. Unfortunately, I've got more shit on my plate at the moment, which will continue all summer long; moving just isn't an option at the moment. I'm going to go ahead and renew for six months and then we're out of here by the end of February. What once was a really nice upscale community has now turned into the ghetto. Rick had already noticed that the quality of people moving in around here was questionable at best. Now, we are by no means snobs, but we've already been broken into once before and were pretty much wiped out. My insurance was canceled as a result, though I understand I can get it through the state (something I definitely need to look into). I went ahead and ran a little check on the Internet only to find out that our place is now a "Fair Housing Host". 'Host' is the operative word meaning HUD or public housing for those that are not familiar. By law, where you live can switch to public housing anytime without having to inform the existing residents. I guess you're supposed to figure it out yourself; maybe after you've been robbed, vandalized, mugged or worse murdered. Anywho, better for everyone else. I managed to put together today's post and will have it up after I get back from my doctor's appointment. I'm taking tomorrow off, though I expect a review of Kristine W's "Power of Music" to go up. I will resume the Gay Pride podcasts on Thursday. Until then . . . enjoy!
