We’re in the final weeks of summer, but that doesn’t mean Party Favorz is taking a vacation. When you don’t see us posting for a week, it usually means we’re buried in the studio working on what comes next. This month, we’re dropping some serious bombs, starting with Summer Sweat 2026 Volume 2 and another round of the hottest dance club music burning up the season.
Picking up where we left off in July, the dancefloor has only gotten hotter. Summer Sweat 2026 Volume 2 starts in cool mode with some ultra-hot Hip-Hop & R&B House from it’s murph and Khalid, Drake, and Cloonee & Prospa. From there, the temperature steadily rises until all bets are off.
From Hip-Hop House to Peak Hour Heat
SIDEPIECE and HILLS keep things moving before we hit Gino Figliolini’s “Stomp,” a track that is completely flying under the radar when it shouldn’t be. It uses a familiar early-2000s riff that could be dropped into almost any decade and still pack a dancefloor.
There’s a long history of recycling these loops and turning them into something new. DJs would be wise not to sit this one out. “Stomp” is exactly the kind of record you want in your late-night arsenal when the floor is packed and everybody is ready to sweat.
It’s also time to name the dance song of the summer. There were several serious contenders, including ANOTR’s “Talk To Me” and Prospa & Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind,” but this year’s crown goes to “Movin To the Sun” by Hugel, Ultra Naté and Imael Angel.
This is the song that just keeps delivering. Paky Francavilla takes the original Afro House groove and flips it into an all-out peak-hour monster without losing the warmth that made the track work in the first place.
Retro Favorites Get a Modern House Makeover
Oliver Heldens, Kryder and The Young Punx take us back to the ’80s with their rework of “AEIOU,” reshaping the retro New Wave track into modern electronic House while keeping enough of its original personality intact.
Likewise, Franco Lippi revives the 1958 party classic “Tequila,” a song that seems destined to receive a fresh dancefloor makeover every few years. This latest version gives the familiar instrumental another shot of modern House production without taking away the fun.
Another standout is “Barthelona” from longtime Party Favorz favorite duo Sofi Tukker. Many of their recent releases haven’t received traditional extended mixes, but that doesn’t stop us from taking what they give us and making it work inside our sets.
As usual, Sofi Tukker move into their sun-soaked, quirky territory where everything feels loose, colorful and slightly unhinged. Their extended time in Brazil and Spain continues to influence their sound as they pull elements from earlier releases into something that feels fresh. We’re here for it.
“Barthelona” also provides a natural gateway into Porter Robinson’s return to the top of the dance charts with “WannaCry.” With its signature Porter Robinson sound, “WannaCry” lands as one of those records that simply feels right for summer.
Summer Sweat Heads Into the Late Night
From there, Summer Sweat 2026 Volume 2 moves firmly into late-night territory.
The Floorplan remix of Madonna’s “Love Sensation” pulls early-2000s-style riffs into the mix while transforming the original into a massive peak-hour track. It’s big, muscular and designed for a packed room.
Adam Tenet follows with his latest, “Beat Goes On,” which surprisingly samples The Whispers’ early-’80s disco classic of the same name. This isn’t some straightforward Nu Disco update. Instead, Tenet uses a light touch, referencing the original while building something that stands entirely on its own.
The result is a House track that could work in several different settings, but we especially like its deeper undertone. That mood transitions perfectly into an even deeper remake of the early-’90s House classic “Good Life.”
Twin Diplomacy then delivers a darker remix of Daft Punk’s massive “Get Lucky,” before Yotto reaches back into the ’80s with “Good Time (Clothes Off).” The track cheekily flips the message of “You Don’t Have To Take Your Clothes Off” into an invitation to do exactly the opposite, closing the set with a wink and a smile.
New Dance Club Music With One Foot in the Past
On paper, parts of this set might look like a throwback collection. It really isn’t.
The backbone of Summer Sweat 2026 Volume 2 comes from the new Tech House, Bass House, Afro House and contemporary dance club music currently riding high around the world. The classics and familiar samples simply provide connective tissue between generations of dance music.
That combination is what makes this set work.
Summer Sweat Volume 2 is a snapshot of what’s happening on dancefloors right now, while also grabbing records that many DJs may have overlooked. That’s why we spend so much time digging through new releases. The obvious hits are easy to find. It’s those hidden gems buried several pages deep that often turn out to be the tracks everyone asks about later.
Party Favorz will take another week off before returning with what used to be an annual release. We took an extended break from this particular series — much like one of our favorite diva — but the recovery period is over and the comeback is ready.

Party Favorz is finally back with Summer Edition 2026 Volume 1, serving up the season’s hottest circuit anthems straight off the turntable—or at least most of them. Better late than never, boys.
I woke up around 2 a.m. this morning to finish a few things around the website before publishing the episode. Everything was going according to plan. The mix was finished, the artwork was ready, and for once, I was actually ahead of schedule. Naturally, that could not be allowed to continue.
Around 5 a.m., just as I was preparing to post Summer Edition 2026, I remembered that I had preordered a song from Beatport that was not scheduled for release until Friday. I figured it would be no big deal. I would download the track, slide it into the already perfect mix at the last minute, and carry on with my morning like the highly organized professional I occasionally pretend to be.
Then I opened the download section of Beatport and discovered five additional songs sitting there that I had purchased for last month’s Pride Edition but apparently never downloaded.
Seriously, what the hell?
I checked my music folders, searched every likely location, and confirmed that the tracks were nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, the new song I had originally gone looking for had not even been released yet. So there I was at five in the morning, staring at five orphaned Pride tracks and questioning every decision that had led me to that moment.
Because these songs were very much geared toward Gay Pride season, I briefly convinced myself that I could work them into Summer Edition 2026 Volume 1. After all, Pride does not end when June does, and a good circuit anthem should never be denied entry simply because it arrived late to the party.
Unfortunately, inserting five songs into an already completed set is not the same as tossing a few extra queens onto a parade float. One track can sometimes be squeezed in without causing too much drama. Five tracks can destroy the pacing, throw off the transitions, and send the entire mix spiraling into chaos faster than an open bar at a circuit party.
Once I started moving songs around, everything went off the rails. Transitions that had worked perfectly no longer fit. The energy rose and fell in all the wrong places. Suddenly, my polished mix was giving “committee meeting” instead of “peak-hour dance floor.”
Frustrated, I went back to bed and decided I would deal with it a few hours later. Surely, after some sleep and a fresh cup of coffee, I would find an elegant solution.
I did not.
Instead, I spent the entire morning dicking around with the tracklist, moving songs, deleting songs, restoring songs, and repeatedly proving that the original version had already been finished for a reason. For the first time in ages, I had been ready to publish everything on schedule, only to create a completely unnecessary headache for myself at the last minute.
Eventually, I gave up. I took the five tardy tracks and dropped them into a new folder labeled Fall Edition 2026. They may be excellent circuit anthems, but I am not entertaining these Mary-come-lately arrivals after they missed their original boarding call. They can sit in the waiting room until autumn and think about what they have done.
That brought me right back to the original finished mix—and honestly, that is where I should have stayed.
So here it is: Summer Edition 2026 Volume 1, featuring most of the hottest circuit anthems of the season for your listening pleasure. It is packed with soaring vocals, big-room drama, tribal rhythms, and enough hands-in-the-air energy to keep the boys moving long after the sun goes down.
The missing tracks will survive. The Fall Edition will benefit. Most importantly, this mix is finally out of my hands and headed straight to your speakers, because I do not have time for any more of this nonsense.

It’s 2:27 Sunday morning, I can’t sleep, and Party Favorz is dropping Beach House 2026 Volume 2. This fucker absolutely oozes with one of the hottest disco house mixes of the summer.
Originally, this year’s Beach House was built as one giant episode. However, after sitting on two amazing pieces of cover art, we decided the music deserved room to breathe. Splitting the release into two volumes made perfect sense.
As a result, Volume 2 picks up exactly where the first set began boiling over. Illyus & Barrientos kick things off with “Right Here,” wasting no time before hitting listeners square between the eyes.
Illyus & Barrientos Bring the Heat
Illyus & Barrientos usually operate in the high-octane reaches of house music that Party Favorz loves. Their productions have appeared across several of our genre releases, including Peak Hour and even Circuit & Anthems.
“Right Here” was a natural fit for Beach House 2026 Volume 2. It opens the floodgates before all hell breaks loose. The energy remains relentless through the first half of the episode before gradually cooling down midway through the mix.
That shift gives the set a natural arc. It starts hot, pushes the temperature into dangerous territory, and then eases listeners into the deeper and smoother side of funky house.
Mirko & Meex Flip “Love Sensation”
Mirko & Meex take us back to familiar territory with their own spin on Loleatta Holloway’s disco classic “Love Sensation.”
Instead of rebuilding the entire song, they zero in on Holloway’s “let me tell you” refrain and turn it into a disco house delight. Producers have sampled nearly every corner of this song over the years, yet Mirko & Meex found a section that still feels surprisingly fresh.
It always amazes us when a production team pulls one brief line from a familiar record and transforms it into something that stands on its own. That takes a sharp ear and a little imagination. In this case, the gamble pays off beautifully.
Discovering the Roots of a Cassius and Avicii Favorite
Next up is Gwen McCrae’s late-seventies soul classic “All This Love That I’m Givin’.”
The song found an entirely new audience in 1999 when French duo Cassius sampled it for “My Feeling for You.” That vocal has since been chopped, filtered, and rebuilt by Avicii and numerous other producers, allowing the hook to become a recurring dancefloor hit across several generations.
To be honest, we never knew the true origins of the sample until the Topaki Disco Team released this edit.
Party Favorz takes pride in having a musical database that stretches back decades. Still, every so often, a song exposes a gap in our knowledge. This was one of those moments. Discovering the original only makes its long life in dance music more impressive.
Dr Packer Revisits Jocelyn Brown
From there, we move quickly from one classic to another with a new update of Jocelyn Brown’s mid-eighties anthem “Somebody Else’s Guy.”
This time, the incomparable Dr Packer handles the remix duties. Rather than stripping away what made the original special, he stays faithful to its soulful foundation while giving it the polished low end and modern punch needed for today’s dancefloor.
Jocelyn Brown already has a well-earned place in the Party Favorz Diva Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Dr Packer has built his reputation by breathing new life into disco, funk, and house records from the seventies, eighties, and nineties.w8
His catalog belongs in the same conversation as Purple Disco Machine. In fact, we are such big fans of his work that a Dr Packer Legacy tribute could very well happen in the near future.
“Trapped” and “This Time Baby” Return to the Floor
Deeper into the mix, Kolter delivers a pounding update of Colonel Abrams’ mid-eighties classic “Trapped.”
Rather than relying on the full original arrangement, Kolter samples the chorus and rebuilds it as an absolute house floor-burner. The hook remains instantly recognizable, but everything surrounding it has been engineered for maximum impact.
Avision follows with “This Time,” a modern flip of Jackie Moore’s 1979 disco classic “This Time Baby.”
Much like Kolter’s treatment of “Trapped,” Avision uses only a slice of the familiar chorus before turning the energy dial to ten. Both tracks show how producers can honor classic dance music without simply copying it. They retain the emotional payoff while creating something made for a new generation of clubgoers.
Sister Sledge and Angie Stone Close the Journey
Romain Villeroy later updates the Sister Sledge classic “Lost in Music,” one of the many enduring songs written by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards.
His version, titled “No Turning Back,” remains faithful to the original while pulling its name from one of the song’s most memorable lines. It is a fitting tribute to a record that has never truly left the dancefloor.
Finally, Mozambo and Antdot close Beach House 2026 Volume 2 with an update of Angie Stone’s millennium-era R&B favorite “Wish I Didn’t Miss You.”
This song has always been a Party Favorz favorite. Placing it at the end allows the set to bring the temperature down without losing its soul. After an episode packed with fiery disco loops, pounding house grooves, and familiar hooks, the track delivers the perfect emotional landing.
Overall, followers of our Funky House series should find plenty to love here. Beach House 2026 Volume 2 is loaded with updated classics, filtered disco, soulful vocals, and enough summer heat to keep this episode on repeat for months.
Party Favorz has also finished assembling our next Summer Edition release for the circuit boys. The artwork alone should be a major crowd-pleaser, so stay tuned.

Volume 1 kicks off this two-part series with an irresistible blend of Disco House, Filter House, Funky House, and Vocal House that's built for pool parties, beach days, backyard cookouts, and late-night gatherings with friends. If you're looking for the ultimate disco house summer mix, you've come to the right place.
From Slow Start to Summer Soundtrack
I'll admit, this one didn't come together as easily as I expected.
When I first started digging through the latest releases, nothing was really grabbing me. It felt like I was wading through an endless stream of new music without finding that spark. After our Spring funky house release, I expected this set to fall into place naturally. Instead, it became one of the more difficult playlists to build this year.
Outside of music, life wasn't exactly cooperating either. Between ongoing nurse visits for dressing changes, doctor's appointments that seem to multiply by the week, and trying to keep everything organized, my mind simply wasn't in the right place. Looking back, that's been a recurring theme throughout much of 2026.
When Everything Finally Clicked
The breakthrough came in the most unexpected way.
After taking a few days off from listening during my usual road trips, I threw on my Bluetooth headphones one evening while winding down with a game of Monopoly before bed. Suddenly, everything made sense. Every transition flowed effortlessly. Each record complemented the next like it had always belonged there. Before long, I was completely absorbed in the music while some AI opponent quietly destroyed me in Monopoly.
That's when I knew these mixes were ready.
Disco House Classics Meet Fresh New Sounds
One of the things I love most about Beach House 2026 Volume 1 is how effortlessly it blends recognizable classics with today's modern Disco House production.
Richard Vission revisits Patrice Rushen's timeless "Haven't You Heard" with the infectious "Looking For You," while Cristoph and Michael Anthony transform Sheila & B. Devotion's disco masterpiece "Spacer" into a hypnotic Filter House groove that feels both nostalgic and completely fresh.
You'll also hear plenty of clever mashups where familiar vocals are layered over brand-new Disco House rhythms. These producers clearly know their dance music history, and it shows throughout the set.
Naturally, Loleatta Holloway—arguably the most sampled female vocalist in dance music history—makes multiple appearances across both volumes. It simply wouldn't feel like a proper Disco House release without her unmistakable voice finding its way into the mix.
House Music Legends Get Modern Updates
Fans of classic House music will also find plenty to love.
Harry Romero breathes new life into Dajae's legendary "Brighter Days," preserving everything that made the original a club anthem while giving it a contemporary edge. Meanwhile, RUZE and Chesster revisit Soulsearcher's early millennium favorite "Feelin' Love," delivering another update that fits seamlessly alongside today's Funky and Filter House productions.
These aren't remakes for the sake of nostalgia. They honor the originals while sounding perfectly at home on modern dance floors.
A Mashup That Stole the Show
If I had to pick one standout, it would probably be "Playin Games" by Block & Crown.
The instrumental borrows Chic's iconic "I Want Your Love," a Disco House staple that's been sampled and reworked countless times over the years. Layered over the top is an old-school vocal that even managed to stump this longtime dance music obsessive. That's saying something.
It's one of those records where every element just works, making it an easy inclusion in this year's set.
Volume Two Arrives This Weekend
Overall, I couldn't be happier with how Beach House 2026 Volume 1 turned out. What started as one of the most difficult Disco House mixes I've assembled this year ultimately became one of the most rewarding.
I also leaned into a classic Hed Kandi-inspired aesthetic for the artwork, which felt like the perfect visual companion to the uplifting, sun-soaked vibe of the music inside.
This is only the beginning. Volume 2 arrives this Saturday with another collection of Disco House, Funky House, and Filter House favorites that will keep the summer party going.

Summer's Hottest Dance Mix Arrives
If you're ready to tune out the noise for a while, Summer Sweat 2026 is exactly what you need. This year's edition is easily summer's hottest dance mix, delivering two and a half hours of nonstop club energy.
I wasn't completely sold on this batch of new releases when I first started assembling the playlist. In fact, I wondered if dance music had hit another lull. But once everything came together in the mix, I had one of those holy crap moments. The transitions were seamless, the energy kept building, and when I cranked it up during a test drive, everything just clicked. Every track melted into the next like butter. Party Favorz is bringing the goods to kick your summer into high gear.
Fresh Club Anthems Worth Your Attention
One track that deserves far more attention is Hard Decision (Don't Blink Remix) by Goom Gum and Dont Blink. Its infectious synth stabs and hypnotic "it's hard" refrain immediately recall the peak years of early millennium dance music while sounding completely modern. It's one of those records that transports you somewhere else and absolutely belongs on more DJ playlists.
We also revisit several classic dance records that have been reinvented for today's club scene. Eric Prydz's Call On Me, Plastic Dreams, and Darude's Sandstorm all receive respectful yet powerful updates that capture the spirit of the originals while packing enough punch for modern dance floors.
One standout deserves special mention. Wet by Wh0 isn't just another remake—it's a clever reimagining of Barry Harris' iconic millennium anthem Dive In the Pool. Rather than simply updating the production, Wh0 transforms the song into a fresh house weapon that feels perfectly at home in today's clubs while preserving everything that made the original such a dance floor classic.
Not every remake lands with the same impact. Work by PupanasT x James Hype featuring Denise Belfon and Pump Up the Jam by Provi both embrace Afro House rhythms and remain faithful to their source material, though they sacrifice some of the raw energy that made the originals unforgettable.
Then there's Wonderland Avenue's take on White Horse, which may be one of my favorite surprises in the set. It stays remarkably true to the original while layering in crunchy electro house production that feels both current and nostalgic, echoing the sound that dominated clubs during the early 2000s.
Madonna Delivers Again
Anyone who follows Party Favorz knows we're unapologetic Madonna fans, so the arrival of Confessions on a Dancefloor II was one of the year's most anticipated releases. Thankfully, it exceeded expectations.
Our DJ service delivered several extended mixes before the official release, giving us access to some outstanding tracks. Among them is Danceteria, a song that feels like a spiritual successor to Vogue. Madonna once again celebrates the personalities, DJs, and nightlife culture that helped launch her career in New York's legendary club scene. Since official club remixes haven't surfaced yet, we selected Frank Chambers' mashup, which seamlessly blends Danceteria with elements of Vogue while respecting both songs.
More Standout Tracks
Another record flying under the radar is Wo;man by Peggy Gou and Ayra Starr. The funky house groove immediately grabs your attention, but it's Ayra Starr's effortless vocal performance that seals the deal. Don't let this one slip past you.
Hugel continues his meteoric rise with a debut album packed with club-ready material. Movin' To the Sun featuring Ultra Naté has already generated countless remixes, while Body Drop with Big Sean and Scott Storch is currently tearing up dance floors.
One of my personal favorites is Stay Sexy with LaBritney and Mili. Its unapologetic message—"get money, stay pretty, handle your business, enjoy your life, stay sexy and don't give a fuck"—rides atop a relentless Afro House groove that's practically guaranteed to ignite dance floors all summer long.
A Fitting Tribute to Bonnie Tyler
Closing Summer Sweat 2026 is David Guetta, Hypaton, and Bonnie Tyler's massive club anthem Together. Released last year, the song brilliantly reimagines Bonnie Tyler's legendary Total Eclipse of the Heart, transforming Jim Steinman's theatrical masterpiece into a euphoric, hands-in-the-air festival anthem that connects generations of dance music fans.
Bonnie Tyler possessed one of the most recognizable and powerful voices in popular music. Her unmistakable raspy delivery made every performance unforgettable, and while she may be gone, her music will continue inspiring listeners for generations to come.
Summer Sweat 2026 Proves Dance Music Is Thriving
When I wrapped up Summer Leap, I couldn't shake the feeling that dance music had entered another stagnant period. Thankfully, Summer Sweat 2026 proved me wrong.
There was far more happening in club music than I initially realized, and while I couldn't possibly cover every standout track in this write-up, this set captures the excitement, creativity, and momentum currently driving today's dance floors.
If you're looking for summer's hottest dance mix, Summer Sweat 2026 delivers exactly what the title promises—an energetic soundtrack packed with future anthems, clever reinventions, and enough high-octane house music to carry you through the hottest months of the year.
This is only Volume 1. There was simply too much outstanding music to squeeze into a single mix, so expect Summer Sweat 2026 Volume 2 to arrive later this month or sometime in early to mid-August. Until then, turn it up, stay cool, and keep the party going.

Summer Throwback Dance Party returns with Volume 2 for 2026 on the eve of the United States’ 250th anniversary, and this one packs a serious punch. This latest edition features a couple more Michael Jackson throwback gems alongside an incredible mix of 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s mashups and reworks. Even the closing track, “Till The Lights Go Out,” is a modern mashup that incorporates “Talk To You” by ANOTR, bringing the journey full circle from yesterday’s classics to today’s dance music. Many of these selections remain timeless pop favorites, reworked and blended for today’s dancefloor while keeping everything that made them unforgettable in the first place.
Classic Throwbacks Meet Modern Mashups
Volume 2 of the Summer Throwback Dance Party series leans hard into the kind of songs that defined radio, clubs, skating rinks, house parties, and every other place where people came together to dance. These aren’t just random retro selections tossed into a mix. They’re familiar songs that still carry weight because they connect to specific moments in time.
That’s always been the power of a strong throwback set. A single hook can take you back to where you were, who you were with, and what life felt like before everything became so complicated. Whether it’s a 70s disco groove, an 80s pop anthem, a 90s house classic, or a 2000s club favorite, the music still works because the songs were built to last.
The newer mashups and reworks help freshen things up without stripping away the original charm. That balance matters. Some producers understand how to modernize a classic without burying it under too much production. Others go too far and leave very little of the original magic behind. Thankfully, this set focuses on the versions that keep the spirit intact while giving the dancefloor something new to grab onto.
AI Is Changing the Sound of Throwback Music
One trend that’s impossible to ignore is the growing role of artificial intelligence in music production. Several familiar classics now sound as though they’re being performed by entirely different artists when, in reality, they’re the original recordings with AI-altered vocals. Producers are changing keys, extending vocal ranges, adding harmonies, and reshaping performances while preserving the cadence and phrasing of the original track.
To my ears, this doesn’t necessarily diminish the songs. In some cases, it gives them a second life for newer audiences who may not have connected with the original version. At the same time, it also shows how many producers are leaning more heavily on technology than originality. Instead of creating something entirely fresh, they’re finding new ways to repackage songs people already know.
I’ve mentioned in previous editions of the Summer Throwback Dance Party series that many Funky House producers have been recycling tracks for years. Sometimes they make only minor changes before releasing them under completely different titles. At the height of that trend, there were simply too many releases to track every variation, which made occasional duplication almost impossible to avoid. Rather than fight it, we chose to embrace the music for what it was and let the mixes flow.
Why It’s Time to Wrap Up the Throwback Series
That brings us to an important announcement. We believe the Throwback Dance Party series has reached its natural conclusion, making these its final installments.
Later this year, Party Favorz will release a Best Of Throwback Dance Party collection featuring the biggest and most memorable tracks from the entire series. We’re also planning the same treatment for our Thank God It’s Disco series, which has likewise reached its creative peak. Expect two carefully assembled volumes for each collection featuring the very best dancefloor moments we’ve shared over the years.
It’s always difficult to close the door on a series that people have enjoyed, but sometimes the right move is to end it while the music still feels strong. These collections deserve a proper sendoff, and that’s exactly what we plan to give them.
America at 250: A Personal Reflection
As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary this Fourth of July weekend, I find myself feeling disconnected from what should be a historic celebration. America has achieved remarkable things over the past two and a half centuries, but it has also left behind deep scars that cannot be ignored. The displacement of Native Americans, slavery, and countless other injustices remain part of our shared history. Acknowledging those truths doesn’t diminish the nation’s achievements. It gives us a fuller picture of the country we’ve become.
For me personally, this anniversary carries a different meaning.
When Opportunity Isn't Equal
As a disabled American, I’ve spent much of my life watching opportunities disappear because employers couldn’t see beyond my disability. My resume consistently opened doors and earned interviews thanks to years of success in business management and marketing. But once I arrived in person, it often became painfully obvious that I wasn’t what they expected.
Ironically, one of the most successful chapters of my career came while working for my father’s struggling business. I completely restructured the company’s operations, modernized its marketing, streamlined its processes, and helped transform it into a multi-million-dollar success. Even my own mother once told me they wouldn’t have hired me if I hadn’t been their son. Hearing that from someone so close to me was painful, but it also confirmed what I already knew. Too many people saw my disability before they ever saw my abilities.
My father ultimately took credit for the turnaround and the changes that fueled the company’s success, even though I was the one who implemented them. That experience stayed with me because it wasn’t just about recognition. It was about being useful enough to fix the problem, but not visible enough to be credited for the solution.
Later, after being furloughed from AT&T as jobs were outsourced overseas, I found myself relying solely on my experience and accomplishments. Unfortunately, too many prospective employers saw my disability before they saw the qualifications. That’s a hard reality to sit with, especially in a country that celebrates opportunity as one of its founding promises.
That’s why, as America celebrates both Independence Day and its 250th anniversary, I can’t help but remember that the promises of opportunity and equality have not been experienced equally by everyone. For many Americans, including those living with disabilities, the pursuit of those ideals remains unfinished.
Thankfully, music has always been one place where everyone is welcome. On the dancefloor, backgrounds, politics, disabilities, and differences fade away. For a few hours, we’re simply united by great music, shared memories, and the joy of dancing together.

Celebrate the Fourth With the Summer Throwback Dance Party
Now that we've put Gay Pride behind us, we're jumping straight into the Fourth of July with our latest Summer Throwback Dance Party mix to help make your holiday cookouts something worth celebrating. Sure, 2026 marks America's 250th birthday, but that's not exactly something I'm feeling particularly festive about. Instead, we're treating this Fourth of July like any other. That doesn't mean we should let everything happening around us — or the wannabe authoritarian currently occupying the White House — steal our joy. On the contrary, Party Favorz is here to make sure your holiday is filled with great music, good friends, and plenty of reasons to smile.
Michael Jackson Takes Center Stage
About a month ago, I received an email from a longtime follower suggesting I put together a Michael Jackson Legacy edition after the Michael movie reignited interest in his catalog. According to him, theaters were packed with audiences singing, dancing, and forgetting their worries for a couple of hours. While I ultimately decided not to produce a dedicated Legacy episode, I found the next best thing.
My DJ service recently added a wave of fresh remixes of Michael's biggest hits from the 1980s, and they were simply too good to ignore. That made him the perfect centerpiece for these first two volumes of the Throwback Dance Party series. Whatever your opinion of Michael Jackson's personal life, there's no denying his influence on pop music, dance culture, and generations of artists who followed. These updated remixes breathe new life into timeless classics while fitting seamlessly alongside the biggest party anthems spanning four decades of pop and dance music.

Welcome to the 2026 Gay Pride Edition!
It's been a long-ass journey to get to this point, but we made it. You'd think that after doing this for 19 years it would get easier. Instead, it seems to get harder every year.
This latest Gay Pride Edition completely blew through my budget for production, coming in at over $150. To be honest, I'm not sure there's enough here to justify that kind of expense. Don't get me wrong — the mix itself is stellar. But many of the standout tracks are Pride classics that were remixed years ago. Rafael Lelis' take on "Born This Way" dates back to around 2013, and the Whitney Houston and Rihanna mashup has been floating around for even longer.
Chasing the Music
The bigger issue is that the remix landscape has changed. The DJs I follow on SoundCloud simply aren't releasing the volume of promo material they used to. When they do, many are newer producers who are difficult to discover because SoundCloud's recommendation system isn't exactly helpful. More often than not, I won't even see a great remix until months after it's been uploaded. Considering I'm paying for a Pro subscription, you'd think the platform would do a better job. Unfortunately, it doesn't.
That leaves Bandcamp and Beatport as my primary sources.
Bandcamp is where I support producers like Dario Xavier, Henriq Moraes, and several others who consistently put out quality commercial and circuit remixes. I've happily supported their work for years, but when a single track starts pushing $8, it feels a bit excessive. One song in this set falls into that category. I've also seen producers bundle one track inside a $25 package just to force the sale. Those are usually easy passes.
Beatport is where I pick up releases from labels like Queen House Music, Swishcraft Music, and others who consistently deliver high-quality circuit and tea dance music. At roughly $2.49 per track, the pricing is more reasonable, but the costs add up quickly. It's not unusual for me to spend more than $50 building a set because most of these songs never appear on my DJ service, which I'm already paying $50 a month for after downgrading from an annual plan that now costs over $400.
Does Anybody Even Like These Sets?
As for the circuit and anthem sets themselves, I'm honestly not sure where they stand with listeners. There are plenty of circuit mixes on SoundCloud, some good and some exceptional. Many focus heavily on original productions, often in languages other than English. My goal has always been different. I try to balance circuit music with familiar commercial vocals, progressive house, and tea dance influences to create something that's accessible to a wider audience while still keeping the energy high.
The challenge is that I receive very little feedback, so it's difficult to know whether these sets are resonating with anyone beyond the download numbers.
The Future of Party Favorz
If you enjoy what I do and want these circuit and anthem series to continue, I need your support. The costs of producing them have reached a point where I can no longer absorb everything on my own. The next scheduled release is the Summer Edition in July. If the resources aren't there, I'll likely postpone it until the fall and reassess where things stand.
I'm not trying to be a downer. I'm simply being honest about the reality of producing these shows in 2026.
That said, I'm still here and still fighting to keep Party Favorz moving forward. I'll be back before the July 4th holiday with our next Throwback Dance Party set.

A New Generation of Gay Anthems
Party Favorz is back with Volume 1 of our annual Gay Anthems For a New Generation 2026 series — or as we like to call it, GAFANG. These next two volumes are packed with modern reworks of LGBTQ dancefloor staples like “Finally,” “Show Me Love,” “Smalltown Boy,” “Believe,” and so much more.
We’re kicking things off with the latest from Lady Gaga and Doechii, who strike a fierce pose on the fabulous “Runway” with extra energy injected by Franco Lippi. Meanwhile, as fans continue waiting for Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II, we’re dropping Madonna’s “I Feel So Free” into the mix.
The Rise of AI Remix Culture
We originally used the official Peggy Gou remix in our Summer Leap series, but curiosity got the better of us and we started digging through SoundCloud and YouTube looking for unofficial bootlegs. What we discovered was an avalanche of remixes. Seriously, there were hundreds of them and we stopped counting somewhere around the hundred mark.
What made these stand out was that nearly all of them were AI-generated. A lot of creators are pushing everything into the Afro House lane right now, pairing the tracks with glossy videos that all have the same hypnotic aesthetic flooding YouTube feeds. Still, after sorting through countless versions, we found several that were genuinely impressive.
AI is clearly opening up a new level of creativity in dance music remix culture. Vocals get chopped, stretched, layered, and in some cases entirely reimagined. On this particular remix, additional background vocals help fill out Madonna’s range in a way that surprisingly works. You’ll hear that later in the set. Honestly, this version was too good not to include.
Is This the Future of Dance Music?
While searching for updated gay anthem classics, we also stumbled across a wave of Afro House remixes for Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.” None of them quite matched the energy needed for these sets, but the experience did leave us wondering if this is where remix culture is heading next.
The copyright issues alone are a massive gray area. Yet with some of these videos pulling in millions of views, you’d think labels and artists would already be moving aggressively to monetize the trend instead of ignoring it. Right now, it still feels like the wild west, but there’s no question we’re witnessing a major shift in dance music culture happening in real time.

Party Favorz is back with Volume 2 of our annual Summer Leap series, spotlighting the biggest dance and club songs making waves before we officially head into the summer months.
The Return of 90s Dance Classics
As promised, many of this year's standout releases draw inspiration from the sounds of the 80s and 90s, proving once again that great music never goes out of style. Instead, today's producers are taking familiar hooks, melodies, and vocals and rebuilding them for modern dance floors.
Among the biggest crowd-pleasers is "Butterfly 2026" by Crazy Town and bradeazy, which reimagines the early-2000s crossover hit for a new generation. Likewise, "Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)" sees Spiller and Sophie Ellis-Bextor's timeless house classic return to club prominence more than two decades after it first dominated dance floors around the world.
David Guetta, Marten Horger, and SNAP! deliver one of the season's biggest surprises with "Pwer," cleverly reworking elements from SNAP!'s iconic catalog into a modern peak-hour weapon. Meanwhile, Shermanology's "Insane" taps directly into the unmistakable energy of Cypress Hill's "Insane in the Brain," transforming a hip-hop anthem into a floor-filling house record without losing the attitude that made the original so memorable.
80s Electronica Gets a Modern Makeover
The influence of 80s alternative electronic music is equally strong throughout this set. Peggy Gou's brilliant rework of Madonna's "I Feel So Free" completely reshapes the original, layering it with synth textures and melodies that feel heavily inspired by acts like Yazoo. The result is nostalgic and forward-thinking at the same time.
DJ Richie Rich and Huda Hudia continue that retro-futuristic theme with "Planet Love," a track that recalls the electronic stylings of Information Society and Depeche Mode while still sounding firmly rooted in today's dance scene.
Elsewhere, Chris Lorenzo and aMo deliver a fresh interpretation of the legendary acid-house classic "S'Express" with their Tech House remix of "Hots 4 U." The original helped define the late-80s UK club explosion, making its return especially fitting at a time when dance music is once again embracing its roots. That same reverence for dance music history can be heard in "How Does It Feel" by Dubdogz, Fezzo, and Zaark, which reworks New Order's groundbreaking "Blue Monday." By updating one of the most influential electronic tracks ever recorded with contemporary house production, the trio bridges the gap between dance music's past and present while keeping its unmistakable spirit intact.
The Sound of Summer 2026
Woven throughout the mix are massive Bass House, House, Tech House, and UK Garage records that collectively paint a picture of where dance music is headed this summer. More importantly, these tracks demonstrate how today's producers are breaking genre boundaries and creating something entirely new from the foundations laid decades ago.
The result is a dance landscape that feels both familiar and excitingly unpredictable. Rather than following established formulas, artists are borrowing from multiple eras and genres to create records that challenge expectations while keeping dance floors moving. It's a shift that continues to reshape club culture, and Party Favorz is fully on board for the ride.

Party Favorz is back with our annual Summer Leap mix featuring the biggest House Music, dance, and club hits heading into the summer season.
House Music Dominates Summer Leap 2026
What's immediately noticeable across both volumes of the Summer Leap series is the dominance of House music. Many of the standout tracks first appeared during our Spring Break series and have continued their momentum ever since. ANOTR and Prospa have been leading the pack with their latest releases, "Like It" and "Baby," while their previous hits, "Talk To You" and "Free Your Mind," remain fixtures in DJs' Top 10 charts. Add "Magnetic" by The Bausa to the mix, and you have a compelling case for dance music fans embracing a return to the sounds of the 1990s in a big way.
House music enjoys a strong presence throughout both sets, with many tracks drawing inspiration from the 80s and 90s catalog. These two eras make for unusual bedfellows. Not long ago, hearing them side by side in a long-form mix would have seemed unthinkable, yet that's exactly what happens throughout this Summer Leap series.
Hidden Gems Worth Adding to Your Playlist
That's not to say other genres aren't represented. Quite the opposite. UK Garage makes a strong showing with "Work Dub" by Pupa Nas T, SHUFFA, and Denise Belfon, a fresh rework of the classic Masters At Work anthem. Another standout is "Anything Goes" by Kaleena Zanders, a personal favorite that's flying under the radar. We highly recommend adding it to your Spotify and Apple Music playlists. It's part of a seven-track EP that's practically skip-proof and earns high marks from Party Favorz.
While there are the usual overhyped releases, such as "Serotonin" by James Hype, which is still a solid track in its own right, Party Favorz would rather steer club-goers toward the opening track, "Favour" by Fisher (OZ). This is another song that's not receiving the attention it deserves, and we strongly recommend adding it to your Spotify and Apple Music playlists. If the buttery vocals from Tones and I don't immediately pull you in, the infectious hook certainly will. This track is leaps and bounds ahead of many of the bigger-name releases currently dominating playlists and is well worth your time.
Dance Music's Retro Revival Continues
Of course, no remix set would be complete without something new from David Guetta. While his Stardust-inspired mashup of "Just The Way You Are" by Milky is noteworthy, his collaboration with German DJ/producer Marten Hørger under the name Men Machine is particularly intriguing because it moves away from his signature polished, big-room EDM sound. Instead, it leans heavily into late-80s industrial influences, most evident on "The Past, The Present, The Future," featured in Volume One of Summer Leap. It's a surprising departure for David Guetta, and we hope to hear more releases from this duo in the future.
Another winner is "Comes and Goes" by KETTAMA. The track leans heavily into the spirit of 90s House music and is currently shaking dance floors around the globe. It's worth noting that his previous release, "It Gets Better," landed on our annual Top Dance Songs of 2025 list, and there are no signs of him slowing down anytime soon. We look forward to hearing what KETTAMA has in store for 2026.
Overall, Volume One of Summer Leap serves as a snapshot of an evolving dance music landscape. Artists are increasingly drawing from 80s and 90s dance classics while transforming those influences into something fresh and contemporary. Party Favorz is fully on board with this trend because it brings greater variety to the dance floor than the formulaic sounds we've grown accustomed to over the years.
That's not to say Future House and other modern styles no longer have a place—they absolutely do. However, by incorporating more House music and classic dance influences into their productions, today's DJs and artists are creating a richer and more diverse musical experience. And that's something we can definitely get behind.

Club Taylor 2k26 Volume 4 Closes Out the Series
Party Favorz is back with the fourth and final volume of Club Taylor 2k26, featuring standout Taylor Swift remixes and dancefloor-ready reworks of her biggest hits and fan favorites. This latest entry in the Club Taylor Platinum Edition series pushes deeper into modern EDM, circuit, progressive, and house sounds while closing out one of the strongest remix collections we’ve assembled in years.
Honestly, there’s not much left to say about this series musically that wasn’t already covered in the previous drop, so instead I’m going to update everyone on what’s been happening behind the scenes lately.
Goodbye Facebook and Instagram
First up, the Party Favorz Facebook page is officially gone.
Apparently, we’re among the early casualties of Meta’s decision to lay off thousands of workers and replace them with AI-driven moderation and customer service. Most of you already know I’m a strong supporter of AI. I use it regularly for writing, artwork concepts, SEO, and website development. However, there’s a massive difference between using AI as a productivity tool and weaponizing it against your own users.
I had a Meta Verified account, meaning Meta already confirmed I was exactly who I claimed to be. Despite the monthly fee, I never received most of the benefits they advertised. At $20 a month, it simply stopped making sense. After trying unsuccessfully to cancel the subscription directly through Meta, I finally shut it down through PayPal so they could no longer charge my debit card.
That’s when the retaliation started.
Suddenly, I lost admin access to the Party Favorz page. What followed was nearly two weeks of going in circles with Meta’s AI support system. It repeatedly told me the issue would be resolved within 24 to 48 hours, only for absolutely nothing to happen. Every time I returned, the case had mysteriously been marked “closed.” Starting a new support request only restarted the same endless loop of fake instructions, missing menu options, dead-end links, and canned responses.
Eventually, I realized I no longer needed Facebook or Instagram at all.
The biggest advantage those platforms offered was keeping up with DJs posting new remix drops on SoundCloud. Since I already follow all of them directly on SoundCloud anyway, Meta really became nothing more than unnecessary middleman clutter.

Medical Debt, Politics, and a Broken System
Most of you already know I’ve been dealing with some pretty brutal medical issues over the past several months. Thankfully, the wounds on my leg have finally started healing, albeit slowly. Still, the financial aftermath has been devastating.
I’m currently drowning in medical debt and doing everything possible to negotiate those bills down to realistic numbers. At this point, it’s basically “take it or leave it” because there’s only so much blood you can squeeze from a stone.
That’s why it infuriates me watching this administration throw money around like monopoly cash.
While average Americans struggle to pay rent, groceries, insurance, and medical bills, Trump reportedly pressured the Department of Justice into creating what amounts to a $1.8 billion slush fund for some of the most undeserving people imaginable — individuals who assaulted Capitol Police officers with flag poles, chemical spray, fists, stun guns, and fire extinguishers, smeared feces throughout the Capitol, trashed congressional offices causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages, hunted lawmakers through the halls of Congress, and openly erected gallows while chanting they wanted to hang Vice President Mike Pence because he refused to overturn the election.
Many pleaded guilty. Others were convicted by juries of their peers after mountains of video evidence left little room for debate. Yet somehow, these people are now being portrayed as victims deserving taxpayer-funded restitution while working Americans drown under medical debt, rising grocery bills, and stagnant wages.
At the same time, Trump continues pushing vanity projects most Americans never asked for, including demands that taxpayers fund his proposed White House ballroom after initially claiming donors would cover the cost. Reports surrounding financial protections tied to his broader political agreements have only fueled concerns that he and members of his family are effectively shielding themselves from future IRS scrutiny indefinitely while continuing to profit from political influence, overseas ventures, licensing deals, cryptocurrency schemes, donor-funded properties, endless merchandise grifts, and every imaginable opportunity to monetize political power.
Meanwhile, regular Americans are told to tighten their belts.
Well, some of us damn sure care.
Gas prices here in Georgia continue creeping upward, hovering around $4 a gallon. Grocery costs for two people in our household have exploded from roughly $300 a month during the Biden years to anywhere between $500 and $700 now. Add crushing medical debt on top of that, and watching Trump and his orbit monetize political power at every opportunity becomes even harder to stomach.
Still, despite all of this financial burden, Rick and I will somehow find a way to muddle through because that’s what ordinary people do. We adapt. We sacrifice. We survive. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the wealthy political class currently fleecing the country while pretending they alone can save it.
The Party Favorz Website Overhaul Is Complete
On a more positive note, the Party Favorz website overhaul is finally finished.
The site should still feel familiar, but the biggest goal was making older episodes easier to discover for newer visitors. Over the years, the Club Taylor series, Funky House Sessions, Peak Hour, Circuit & Anthems, and countless legacy sets have grown so large that too much content was getting buried beneath newer releases. Now, older episodes are featured more prominently so listeners can better understand the full scope of what Party Favorz offers across multiple genres and generations of dance music.
There are only so many ways to redesign a site like this without losing its identity, but I think I finally landed on something that works.
Summer Leap 2026 Is Up Next
I know many of you are already waiting for Summer Leap 2026. The good news is that the tracks have already been selected and the set is well underway. My hope is to have it ready sometime next week.
After that, we’ll officially move into the annual Gay Pride sets, which are always among the biggest releases of the year around here.
Between Club Taylor 2k26, the website overhaul, and everything happening behind the scenes personally, it feels good to finally say that things are slowly getting back on track.

Party Favorz is back with the third installment of Club Taylor [Platinum Edition], continuing our complete overhaul of the original Taylor Swift remix series while pushing these final two volumes into entirely new territory.
Expanding Beyond the Original Club Taylor
The first two volumes leaned more heavily into the progressive, tribal and circuit-inspired sounds commonly associated with LGBTQ dance culture and festivals, while Volumes 3 and 4 expand into a broader modern dance spectrum that incorporates sweeping EDM, Progressive House, Dubstep, Future House, NuDisco and melodic crossover remixes geared toward hardcore Taylor fans looking for something beyond the expected club formula.
Rebuilding the Series From Scratch
As we started rebuilding these sets from scratch, it quickly became obvious that trying to force everything into one giant mix wasn’t working. Even with strong remixes, too many songs began blending together after repeated listening. Taylor’s songwriting style is so recognizable that placement and sequencing became just as important as the songs themselves.
That’s ultimately why this project evolved into four distinct volumes instead of simply updating the original release.
Many of the strongest remixes from the original Club Taylor were already doing exactly what they needed to do, so they remained untouched. Others were replaced with alternate versions that better fit the atmosphere and flow of these newer volumes. In several cases, lesser-known remixes ultimately worked better than the bigger or more obvious choices because they allowed the songs to breathe naturally instead of overwhelming them with unnecessary production tricks.
That approach helped shape the overall identity of the final two volumes.
A More Modern Dancefloor Experience
Tracks from 1989, Reputation, Lover, Red, Speak Now, Folklore, Midnights, The Tortured Poets Department and The Life of a Showgirl all coexist here, but they do so through a much broader modern dance lens than the earlier volumes. Songs like “Down Bad,” “Fortnight,” “Bad Blood,” “Karma,” “Cruel Summer,” “The Fate Of Ophelia” and “Opalite” naturally pushed the set deeper into melodic EDM and atmospheric territory, while classics like “Out Of The Woods,” “Ready For It,” “Blank Space,” “Style,” “Wildest Dreams,” “You Belong With Me” and “Shake It Off” helped anchor the larger club energy throughout the mix.
At the same time, some songs simply didn’t survive the rebuild process. A few remixes stayed too close to the original productions, while others disrupted the pacing or emotional momentum we were trying to create. Even fan favorite mashups were cut if they didn’t contribute something unique to the overall listening experience.
In the end, these final two volumes became less about creating a straightforward Taylor Swift remix collection and more about building a long-form dance experience that evolves from beginning to end without exhausting the listener. Party Favorz really pushed itself creatively on these final two volumes and we hope fans can appreciate the time and effort that went into creating them.
