Donna Summer's "Bad Girls," renowned for its rebellious spirit and catchy hooks, gets an exciting, new interpretation in the Eugenio Fico Mix. The remix refreshes the classic track, making it even more compelling for today's listeners.
The DJ Meme Definitive Remix of "Stomp!" by The Brothers Johnson expertly modernizes the original's funky essence. The remix perfectly combines classic disco elements with fresh beats, offering an irresistible groove.
The list of remixed top-rated disco songs continues with the Jet Boot Jack Remix of Teddy Pendergrass's "Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose." The remix perfectly captures the original's upbeat energy, introducing contemporary sounds that ensure its relevance on today's dance floors.
Not forgetting Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall," which gets a refreshing remix from Block & Crown. The modern mix keeps the legendary artist's charm intact while adding an extra layer of excitement with new-age rhythms.
In the Paul Parsons Club Mix of Chanson's "Don't Hold Back," the original's strong vocals remain a highlight, complemented by a more energetic beat. The result is a potent remix that commands listeners to get up and dance.
Gino Soccio's "Dancer Delight" and Sugar Hill Gang's mashup by Paul Jockey & Lissat ingeniously merges the two tracks. It takes the best elements from each song, weaving them together in a thrilling composition that keeps the dance floor vibrant.
Meanwhile, the Dr Packer Remix of Sylvester's "Do Ya Wanna Funk" adds an electrifying touch to the iconic track. The remix maintains the original's spirit while reimagining it with a modern, funky twist.
DJ Meme's Reconstruction Remix of George Michael's "Outside" and Barry Harris's 2021 Remix of The Jacksons' "Can You Feel It" offer fresh takes on these beloved classics, transforming them into exhilarating contemporary anthems.

Purple Disco Machine: The Unpredictable Maestro of Funky House Music
Sunday Nov 21, 2021
Sunday Nov 21, 2021
Emerging on the dance music scene over a decade ago, Germany's Tino Piontek—better known as Purple Disco Machine—has carved a unique niche for himself in the realm of electronic dance music. An artist who refuses to be pigeonholed, Piontek has managed to remain on the cutting edge while dipping his toes into various sub-genres.
The Purple Disco Machine project first gained traction in 2009, rooted in a distinct Deep Funk-branded Disco House music style. Although the initial journey had its ups and downs, it was the 2013 release of "My House" that marked a turning point. The track topped the Beatport Deep House charts and became a defining moment that signaled his arrival in the mainstream.
Purple Disco Machine's star really started to soar in 2018. A particular highlight was his ingenious reworking of "Male Stripper" by Man 2 Man called "(Dished) Male Stripper", that utilized one of many riffs from the iconic Loleatta Holloway. This remix effortlessly blended the camp of the original 90s techno track with a pulsating, contemporary beat, winning acclaim in both underground and mainstream dance clubs. It even earned a spot on our "Top Dance Songs of the Year" series.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I5SKItOWeI
Beyond these accomplishments, he's showcased an exceptional range of adaptability. The artist has worked with a plethora of dance music's crème de la crème, from Jamiroquai and New Order to Faithless and Claptone. His transformative power as a producer has allowed songs by Hercules & Love Affair, Sigma with Paloma Faith, and even our personal favorite, Shapeshifters, to get a new lease on life on the dance floor.
And it's not just his older works that keep us intrigued; he's also turned his creative flair towards newer chart-toppers. From the soulful beats of Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me" to the pulsing energy of Weiss' "Feel My Needs," his Midas touch seems to know no bounds. With each collaboration or remix, he reimagines the musical landscape, as seen with The Human League's "Don't You Want Me," Claptone & Mylo's "Drop The Pressure," and the latest offering, "Hypnotized," featuring Sophie & The Giants.
Purple Disco Machine has crafted a unique Funky House style that seamlessly integrates into multiple genres. Far from being pigeonholed, his musical approach works wonders with pop anthems and underground House tracks alike. He has a particular affinity for Indie artists such as Hercules & Love Affair and Sophie & The Giants. This chameleon-like ability allows him to take any track, whether it's an iconic classic or an overlooked gem, and transform it into an irresistible dance floor magnet. While some may argue that he lacks a 'signature style,' this eclectic range is precisely what makes PDM so captivating. Each production he touches—be it NuDisco, Deep House, Classic House, or Indie Dance—emerges reinvigorated, making his music not only hard to categorize but utterly engaging to listen to.
This feature is not intended as a career epitaph but rather a tribute to an artist who is clearly on an upward trajectory. Madonna, if you're scanning the musical landscape for your next collaborator, you might want to consider this gem of a producer. As for the rest of us, we can't wait to see where his explorative sonic spirit takes him next.
Cheers to Purple Disco Machine—here's to a future filled with more foot-stomping, booty-shaking, crowd-pleasing magic!
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Tony Moran — The Ultimate Legacy: The Final Act of an Epic Musical Journey
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
We've arrived at the final chapter of our monumental journey through the awe-inspiring career of Tony Moran, with the fourth and final volume of the Ultimate Tony Moran Legacy series. Each volume so far has been a lesson in Moran's unmatched versatility and influence, and this grand finale is no exception.
Opening with Judy Torres' "Hell No," we're reminded of Tony Moran's unique skill in balancing the line between underground cred and mainstream visibility. His treatment of Torres' energetic vocals is more than just a remix; it's an electrifying sonic experience that elevates the track to a club anthem.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHzp4oWh1p0
But why stop there? Moran's mastery extends to pop princess Christina Aguilera with her hit "Ain't No Other Man." He has the magical ability to inject a new life into any track, turning it into an inescapable dance floor magnet.
Another hallmark of Moran's career has been his work with some of the industry's most soulful voices, exemplified by his remix of Rihanna's "Russian Roulette." His remix isn't just a twist on the original; it's a powerful reimagining that adds a pulsing, irresistible beat, transforming it into a bona fide dance-floor classic.
If ever there was a tune to light up the night, it's Erin Hamilton's "The Flame 2008." In Moran's capable hands, the song is reborn into a sonic tapestry that flares with passion and groove.
Moving onto Kristine W’s “The Power of Music,” we find Tony Moran's handprints all over this masterpiece. He twists and turns the original composition into a musical narrative that effortlessly fits into the thematic richness of the Ultimate Tony Moran Legacy series.
Ah, but who could forget the sassy Rosabel with Jeanie Tracy on "Cha Cha Heels"? Moran taps into the infectious energy of the track, adding an extra layer of glitter and grandeur that only he could pull off.

For those who remember the booming voice of Martha Wash on Tony Moran's "Free People," this final volume is an auditory feast. It reaffirms Moran's genius for drawing out the soul from within, transforming already vibrant tracks into divine dance anthems.
The volume rounds out with "Perfect Bitch," a collaboration with Jason Walker. This track brings us full circle, encapsulating Moran's trademark fusion of vigorous beats and authentic artistry.
What we've learned from this four-volume series is that Tony Moran's contributions to dance music are immeasurable. He's more than a remixer or a DJ; he's a musical force that has shaped the past, the present, and will undoubtedly continue to influence the future of the genre.
As we close the final chapter of this series, it's clear that Tony Moran's legacy is far from over. He's a living legend who has sculpted the world of dance music in his image, and for that, we can only stand and applaud.

Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Welcome back to the third volume of our Ultimate Tony Moran Legacy series, where we delve even further into the extraordinary oeuvre of Tony Moran. With each set, it becomes abundantly clear that Moran isn't just a one-hit-wonder; he's an industry titan whose flair for remixing and production has left an indelible mark on dance music.
Moran's breadth of work is impressive, to say the least. Whether contributing tracks for his own "Event" compilations or lending his Midas touch to other artists, he's accumulated an astonishing number of chart-topping songs—many reaching the zenith of the Dance Club charts, while others have conquered various other charts, including the illustrious Hot 100.
Tony Moran is more than just a studio genius; he's a stage phenomenon. Over the years, his live performances have gained almost mythical status, drawing packed houses worldwide. In many ways, he's paved the way for the next generation of DJ-producer-entertainers like Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Skrillex, and Avicii, who've transitioned their talents from the studio to colossal live shows.
Let's talk about some of the spectacular songs that are featured in this volume. "Real Love" by Deborah Cooper is a testament to Moran's ability to infuse classic house elements with a modern touch. Then there's "Keep Your Body Workin'" featuring Martha Wash, which has become an anthemic number that resonates across dance floors. Annie Lennox's "Into The West" takes on a new dimension under Moran's expert touch, transforming it into a dance track that retains its original emotional power.
Ben Platt’s "Waving Through A Window," featuring the Original Broadway Cast of Dear Evan Hansen, showcases Moran's knack for traversing genres. He managed to turn a Broadway ballad into a danceable tune without losing an ounce of its raw emotion. Jennifer Lopez's "Qué Hiciste" gets a sultry, rhythmic overhaul that showcases J.Lo's vocal prowess in a completely new light. Moran’s remix of "Give It Up" by Kevin Aviance is a pulsating extravaganza, and “I’d Rather Be Me” from the cast of Mean Girls is a delightful surprise, as he spins its youthful energy into dance gold.
In conclusion, Tony Moran is not just surviving in this industry; he’s thriving and evolving. Each set in this Legacy series reveals another layer of his multifaceted talents, and this third volume is no different. We're excited to showcase these and many more tracks that exemplify the genius of Tony Moran—a legend whose legacy only continues to grow.

70s and 80s Best Disco Songs Remixed & Reimagined — Thank God It’s Disco Volume 5
Saturday Nov 13, 2021
Saturday Nov 13, 2021
On a fabulous autumn day in Atlanta, Party Favorz is elated to release the fifth volume of the 'Thank God It's Disco' series. This compilation is a tribute to the 70s and 80s best disco songs, updated with a fresh twist. Each track, whether it's a classic disco tune from the 70s or a rhythmic gem from the 80s, receives a makeover for the modern era. Some retain the essence of the originals while others incorporate unique spins, including mash-ups of two timeless disco hits.
Take for instance, Gloria Gaynor's 'Never Can Say Goodbye', remixed by Jet Boot Jack. This new version maintains Gaynor's iconic vocals, albeit in a re-sung form, providing a refreshing yet familiar feel. On the other hand, 'I Will Survive', revamped by Anthony Fennel, presents an intriguing blend of the classic melody with contemporary House elements.
Michael Zager Band's 'Let's All Chant' remixed by Block & Crown, employs the original stems but omits the distinctive 'uh-ah, uh ah' sequence, which may come as a surprise to some. Yet, it still encapsulates the spirit of the 70s and 80s best disco songs.
Looking ahead, next week will bring a pleasant divergence with an updated Legacy set from an artist who has surged in popularity, making this an exciting addition to your collection. We're also featuring a legendary diva whose timeless hits have recently been reimagined, promising to thrill fans of the 70s and 80s best disco songs. Stay tuned!
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Tony Moran’s Unfading Brilliance in Volume 2 of Our Legacy Tribute
Friday Nov 12, 2021
Friday Nov 12, 2021
As Tony Moran marched into the 21st century, his artistic brilliance only intensified, shining even more luminously than before. Moran has skillfully remixed a bevy of the era's most resplendent tunes, crafting a discography that reads like an exclusive guest list to our own Diva Hall of Fame. The need to enumerate these names is superfluous—they're all here, captured in the undulating grooves of his masterful remixes.
Rather than segmenting Moran's prolific output over the past two decades, this volume opts for a rich blend, offering fans a seamless tapestry that spans 22 illustrious years. His career, far from waning, shows every sign of thriving, still pulsating with new energy.
Let's talk about some songs that have been immortalized by Moran's magic touch. Take Oceana's "Body Rock" for example—a track that already has its merits but has been elevated to a whole new level under his skilled hands. Moran’s mix introduces an electrifying charge that makes the dance floor virtually irresistible. Or consider his reimagining of Deborah Cox's "Easy as Life," where Moran unravels the very fabric of the song and reweaves it with threads of auditory gold. The result? An anthem that beckons, ignites, and resonates in the soul.
Rihanna's "Unfaithful" carries the emotional weight of its lyrics, but Moran adds an entirely new layer of complexity, giving the tune a unique twist that fits perfectly in any club environment. Then there's "Heaven's What I Feel" by Gloria Estefan, where Moran not only preserves the song's initial zest but also enhances it, infusing an extra dose of euphoria into its melody.
And who could ignore his collaborative opus, "Magic," featuring the formidable Jennifer Holliday? This track is more than just a song; it's an experience, a wave of sounds that wash over you, leaving you drenched in its spellbinding allure.
Songs by Diva Hall of Famers like Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us,” Donna Summer’s “You’re So Beautiful,” and Cher's “Take It Like A Man” have also been graced by Moran’s inimitable style, further solidifying his place as a living legend in the world of dance music.
What has become abundantly clear is that Tony Moran is not merely a producer or a remixer. He is an alchemist, skillfully transforming already exquisite tracks into new forms of sonic gold. His career, a shining beacon in the dance music universe, promises even more astounding works to come.
It's with a sense of awe and immense respect that Party Favorz honors the multifaceted Tony Moran with this volume, an essential installment in our Legacy series. Until the next time…ENJOY!

Saturday Nov 06, 2021
Saturday Nov 06, 2021
Our 'Thank God It's Disco' series, known for featuring some of the 'Disco Music Best Hits', is back with its vibrant fourth installment. Tracks for this edition have been sourced from various corners, curated over time, laying the foundation for not just this volume, but also forthcoming fifth and sixth volumes.
You might find a few echoes of earlier editions, but these tracks have been ingeniously reimagined by different DJs, adding a unique, contemporary vibe. The undisputed maestro of 'Disco Music Best Hits', Dr Packer, plays a prominent role across these volumes. We also see contributions from the fiery Block & Crown and crowd-favorite DJ Meme. The missing in action DJ Barry Harris also receives a nostalgic nod.
While the throbbing rhythm of disco characterizes this volume, the soulful grooves of Funk music also have their grand moments. And for a bit of nostalgic spice, we've also peppered the collection with dance hits from the late 80s.
As we proceed, we'll be interlacing these releases with the Tony Moran Legacy series. But be prepared for some delightful surprises popping up later this month. Buckle up as we promise a dynamic month brimming with the best of Disco music. Until the next time...ENJOY!

Tony Moran Legacy Series Volume 1: Honoring a Dance Music Legend
Friday Nov 05, 2021
Friday Nov 05, 2021
Revered DJ, producer, and remixer Tony Moran has been a formidable force in the dance music universe for over 30 years. With an illustrious career that boasts two Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart-toppers in 2007 alone—"Walk Away" featuring Kristine W and "Keep Your Body Working" featuring Martha Wash—Moran is no stranger to the pinnacle of success. To date, he's scored a staggering seven U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs number-one hits, punctuated by four chart dominators in the years 2016 and 2017.
Don't mistake him as just another remix producer; Moran is the man behind iconic reimaginings of tunes from music royalty like Janet Jackson, Madonna, George Michael, and Mariah Carey, just to name a few. In the '90s, when luminaries like David Morales, Junior Vasquez, or Hex Hector were otherwise engaged, Moran was the go-to genius. His reputation ascended even further as the millennium progressed, filling the void left by Morales, Vasquez, and the reclusive Hector. Collaborations with Jody Den Broeder and Warren Rigg yielded anthems that have defined a generation.
And let's get this straight—his '90s oeuvre was no mere stepping stone. His craftsmanship then was as impeccable as it is now, capturing the essence of the dancefloor while adding his own unique flair. His groundbreaking remix of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," replete with pounding tribal beats and electrifying synths, became an instant queer anthem, arguably even outdoing Hex Hector himself.
Beyond remixes, Moran has also dropped albums featuring diva collaborations that were seismic events in their own right. The resultant club anthems were pure fire, drenching dance floors globally in euphoria and sweat. Moran's name drew colossal crowds worldwide, cementing him as one of the first 'Superstar DJs' alongside legends like Tiesto.
Still riding high, Tony Moran continues to churn out chart-busting hits for artists like Jason Walker and Martha Wash. With his roots tracing back to the art of mixtape edits—much like what we at Party Favorz started with—it's a tremendous honor to welcome the multi-talented Tony Moran into our esteemed Legacy series.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Disco House Party Mix: Shake It Up Tonight
Saturday Oct 30, 2021
Saturday Oct 30, 2021
Party Favorz is back with our weekend drop 'Shake It Up Tonight,' which is a massive Disco House set featuring the absolute latest House Music tracks that include NuDisco, Jackin House, Soulful and Deep House grooves for those of you who prefer something funky in your party arsenal.
This set had been finished since last week but we had to go back this morning and rework the final transition between the newly released remix of 'Unspeakable Joy' by one of our favorite Divas Kim English to the amazing 'Beginnings' by Don Welch. We had been sitting on that track since August as it dropped too late to get onto our last batch of disco house music. For some of you older folks and/or fans of the group Chicago, this is a nice House remix of their early 70's pop hit by the same name that charted as a double-sided single with the other being the bigger track 'Color My World.'
'Beginnings' in its radio format is a nice pop track featuring the horn section Chicago had become known for but the album version lodges into the group's signature alternative rock-jazz-fusion style that clocks in over 7 minutes. This remix reimagines the track in the world of House Music and it's so well done that it had to be the closer for this set. The song kinda flew past most DJs radars but being the musical connoisseurs that we are — it had to be included.
The transition from the Dr Packer Mix of the Kim English classic "Unspeakable Joy" had a cold acapella ending (which we generally like) but it wasn't working in that the beats clashed with the incoming Don Welch track even though they were in the same key. So, some creative tricks were employed to make the transition sound as seamless as possible and it's not something a DJ would do on the fly but in the studio. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience throughout even if it's not something anyone would appreciate but anal retentives like us (i.e. me when I'm talking in 3rd person).
This set was intentionally ginormous because it's not clear yet if there will be one final Disco House set by the end of the year (though that's the goal). We've got a massive slate of releases scheduled between now and the end of 2021 so saddle up because it's going to be a wild ride to pack everything in.
Until then...ENJOY!

Peak Hour Dance Party: Shiny Disco Balls
Saturday Oct 23, 2021
Saturday Oct 23, 2021
Not happy with some of the supposed 'top' Tech House songs that sounded liked they were slapped together from a 1980s beat machine and dropped in a Classic Rock sample from the 1960s and called it a day — Party Favorz shook the Alternative House Music tree until far superior tracks dropped from its golden leaves to create our latest Peak Hour dance party set.
The end result is a masterpiece that was a grueling process of track selection in Tech House, Bass House, Breakbeat, Electronica, Techno, and Big Room sprinkled with classic edits, mashups, and bootlegs that will keep your after-hour Halloween party moving well past midnight.
This peak hour dance party mix will be the last of the Halloween-themed sets as we're gearing up for what looks like a MASSIVE Disco House drop next week.

Halloween Dance Party: HW-21
Saturday Oct 16, 2021
Saturday Oct 16, 2021
Party Favorz is back with our annual Halloween Dance Party mix featuring all the latest Dance Club songs, bootlegs, mashups, and classic dance tracks revisited, and boy oh boy is this set a whopper!
I was feeling out of sorts for several days and each time I attempted to sit down and put this together, I hit a roadblock right out of the gate. By Thursday, I sat down picked a starting point, and just let the music move me. Though I've only created a one-stop set like this a couple of times before — this is the closest you'll ever get to listen to me live.
With 200+ songs to go through, I threw tracks out on the fly while sitting for 4 1/2 hours going from one song to the next. The result is pure magic! So much so, I even impressed myself at how well this set came out. Granted, there are a few songs (while not terrible) I could have left off — overall, I'm very pleased with the end result.
The set kicks off with a remake of the Stevie Wonder penned classic 'Tell Me Something Good,' which was a hit back in the seventies for Rufus & Chaka (Khan). This is one of those songs that should give anyone pause trying to remake. I will say that Ewan McVicar did an amazing job reworking it into a firecracker House track. I do question the unusually long build-up before the song picks up steam but it appears to have worked as it's sitting in everyone's Top 20 at the moment.
Once you get through the first track, it's all hands on deck and anything goes from there. This is a Halloween dance party worth remembering!
I've already compiled the track list for the next Peak Hour set and will start working on that today.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Adele: From Grammy-Winning Newcomer to Diva Hall of Fame Dance Remix Goddess
Sunday Oct 10, 2021
Sunday Oct 10, 2021
English singer Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins) won two Grammys for her debut album 19 in 2009 and it’s been nothing but uphill since then. After the success of that album, if you still didn’t know who she was, you couldn’t avoid her after her sophomore album release 21. Her amazing performance of “Rolling In the Deep” on the Letterman Show further solidified her name and went on to win an additional six Grammy’s including Album of the Year.
By the time 25 landed, all bets were off when she won a contentious battle of the Grammy for Album of the Year beating out another one of our favorite divas Beyoncé. While heartfelt, her acceptance speech may have been slightly over the top but all is forgiven because she was (as in past interviews) genuinely sincere if not surprised by her win.
While lacking the vocal gymnastics of her predecessors, Adele has put herself in a position to wrangle the mantle away from Celine Dion who stole it from Barbra Streisand. She has the qualities of Celine’s overly genuine and heartfelt gratitude and sincerity with Barbra’s street smarts, honesty, and use of frosty language to express her views. Combined with her outstanding beauty and talent, she IS the ultimate DIVA.
Party Favorz is proud if not downright giddy about inducting one of our favorite artists of the 21st century into the DIVA Hall of Fame. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome our newest DIVA, Adele.
It's been six long years since one of our favorite divas Adele released an album and we now have word that her next single will be dropping on October 15th. So, Party Favorz thought we would go back and revisit her original induction into the Diva Hall of Fame to get everyone caught up because y'all know there are gonna be slamming remixes (official and unofficial) accompanying her album. So damn good. ENJOY!
Donate and keep the party going!
