It does not appear that my host (Podbean) will allow me to manually add supporters as premium subscribers any longer. They used to but have stopped the practice because they now get 15% of whatever is donated in return for providing support for users with issues. That's on top of the fee charged by Stripe to process the subscription payments. If they come back and say okay this one time, then I'll move forward but it's not looking good.
I've resigned to the fact that no matter how popular Party Favorz is, there is no way I'll ever be able to make back the money I put into it without having to continually beg for donations like when my site hosting comes due around April/May. When I shut down Apple Music, Google Play and Tunein it makes it inconvenient for a lot of folks who have supported my efforts and frankly isn't fair to them. If I block my feed so that shit services like Deezer, PlayerFM and Mixcloud cannot access it then it blocks access to the ones I want it to appear on. Kind of a catch 22 but I'm researching away around it. I'll make an announcement if I figure that one out.
At this point, I've done all I can with this site and don't see much future beyond 2017. I'm seriously looking for a job but one that pays more than I'm already taking in at the moment, which is why I'm being picky. As for the shitbag at https://www.mixcloud.com/kepatotal/ Mixcloud sent me a takedown notice I have to fill out, which I will do shortly. Diva Hall of Fame and the Legacy sections will remain permanently closed as I assume everyone has already downloaded what they want.
So here's the Jingle Electric 2017 pt. 2 for everyone's enjoyment. Even though everything is wrapped up for the year, I plan on sticking to my original release schedule. The Holiday Edition contains one MUST-HAVE song on it that is an early promo but I can't release the set until the song drops this coming Friday, December 1st. So expect that to go up followed by the Year in Dance 2017 the following week.
I just dropped a couple of tunes into the Blow Your Own Horn 2018 set and smoothed out a couple of transitions, so I plan on getting drunk while previewing it for the rest of the day to ensure there are no other issues. For those that recently donated after my tirade yesterday, send me a message via Facebook if you would like a refund. No questions asked. ENJOY!

Jingle Electric 2017 Volume 1
Friday Nov 24, 2017
Friday Nov 24, 2017
It's time for the annual Jingle Electric jam! This is the final batch of the current and HOTTEST EDM/Dance tracks blowing up at radio and dance floors across the globe.
Over the years I started using vintage holiday artwork for this series. I am a HUGE fan of vintage ads set in a modern era. Granted, a lot of it is misogynist and definitely misleading. I've even come across several that are clearly targeted at gay men, which come across a little disturbing while others are hilarious. It's certainly not what you'd expect given the time they came out because there is no confusing the message they were sending. One of the ads was for a luxury Buick with an attractive lady in the backseat and a man in a tuxedo appearing to peak in the back door. The headline or selling point is "Enough room for her to spread her legs" I shit you not.
While Party Favorz does not condone this kind of crap, I do have a fascination with attractive women, fashion, etc. So don't make too big a fuss about the images as it's meant to be all in good fun and represents a time in the past mixed in with modern-day culture.
You will find several of these tracks re-appear on the Year In Dance coming out in a couple of weeks as well as some big room banger versions on the year-end Blow Your Own Horn. I'll have the second set out early tomorrow morning for your weekend pleasure. Until then...ENJOY!

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Again)! | Christmas Dance Megamix
Thursday Nov 23, 2017
Thursday Nov 23, 2017
It's the most wonderful time of the year (again)! That time where we stuff ourselves with turkey, fight over politics with family and friends, sleep it off, watch football and parades and try to get the best steals on gifts for loved ones or ourselves.
In an effort to get everyone in the mood and help ease the frustrations usually associated with all of the above, I'm reposting the X-mas Dance Mix from 2016 to help lessen the anxiety and hopefully put you in a better frame of mind.
Over the years, I've made a handful of these awesome holiday dance sets for those that like a lot of bounce to their holiday music. I've linked all of them below but if you only need one, then this is the one you want.
Hope everyone shows some restraint in their consumerist tendencies unless you want to endow Party Favorz with the gift that keeps on giving [grin].
Make sure to pay close attention to the site because I've got a boatload of new material heading your way beginning tomorrow and starting with the 2017 Jingle Electric.
Until then...HAPPY THANKSGIVING unless you live outside of the US. In that case, HAPPY THURSDAY! ENJOY!!!

Gems of 90s House Music Classics: Let There Be House
Wednesday Nov 22, 2017
Wednesday Nov 22, 2017
As we wrap up our series on 90s House Musics Classics with "Let There Be House," it's time to pay homage to a decade that truly defined house music for the masses. While I've been diligent in revisiting other iconic eras and genres in our extensive collection, the 90s house scene has been calling for a fresh take. And with this mix, I'm confident we've paid proper tribute to this game-changing decade.
First off, let's clear the air regarding Onephatdeeva's "Bad Habit" featuring Lisa Millett. Yes, the official release was in 2000, but the promo had been floating around since late '99, making it a perfect fit for this compilation. If you've heard it in our "Get Up n’ Dance | Millennial House Classics v4," that's no accident—it's a track so good it transcends decades as do many of these songs.
Now, let's talk about some of the standout tracks. Beats International's "Dub Be Good To Me" featuring Lindy Layton starts things off with its tantalizing blend of reggae-infused house, a Norman Cook (a.k.a.Fatboy Slim) touch that was groundbreaking for its time. Then we have Heavy D & The Boyz's "Now That We Found Love," remixed by the legendary David Morales. This song is a high-energy journey, an effervescent blend of rhythm and vocal prowess.
The Bucketheads' "Got Myself Together" is an essential inclusion. The KenLou Mix provides a timeless vibe that remains as fresh today as it was back then. If you're more into the emotional depth house can offer, Saundra Williams' "I Want It, I Need It (Real Love)" with MK's Real Dub will evoke that feeling of yearning and release, which is what house music, at its core, often aims to do.
Praxis featuring Kathy Brown rouses the dancefloor with "Turn Me Out," a floor-filler with a melody you can't escape. Kathy's vocals in this Delorme UK Club Mix are a resonant call to the dance floor, inviting and relentless.
No 90s House Music Classics mix is complete without some Moby, and his "Move" in the Electro Mix is a nod to how versatile this decade was, blending elements of electronic music with classic house beats.
And let's not forget the sugary sweetness of CJ Bolland's "Sugar Is Sweeter," revamped into a Drum n Bass Mix by none other than Armand Van Helden. This track embodies the adventurous spirit of the '90s, where artists and DJs were unafraid to experiment, to blend genres and break down musical barriers.
Before we wrap up, it's important to give a nod to our namesake track "Let There Be House" by Deskee, remixed by WestBam. This song not only encapsulates the ethos of this compilation but also serves as a credo for house music itself—bold, unapologetic, and utterly danceable.
As we close the chapter on this revisiting of 90s Music Classics, I hope it serves as a fitting soundtrack to your Thanksgiving festivities. I'll be back to sprinkle some seasonal vibes your way, but for now, let the 90's house vibes marinate in your soul.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

90s Classic House Music Volume 9: Surrender Yourself
Tuesday Nov 21, 2017
Tuesday Nov 21, 2017
As we dive deeper into our treasure trove of 90s Classic House Music, we present "Surrender Yourself"—a collection that not only spotlights time-honored house tunes but also offers early glimpses into what would evolve into the contemporary circuit house sound. Songs like "Body To Body (Keep In Touch)" remixed by Junior Vasquez and "Changes" with Soul Solution's unique touch serve as milestones on the road to today's multifaceted dance music landscape.
Speaking of "Changes," this track holds a unique backstory. It's one of Soul Solution's nascent remixes, and let's be honest, it was a bit disjointed. So, we took the liberty of editing it for a more cohesive experience. Soul Solution duo Bobby Guy and Ernie Lake were trailblazers, quickly rising to prominence in the 90s Classic House Music era. Yet, they eventually parted ways due to a label dispute, which in a twist of fate, opened the gates for Hex Hector—a collaborator they had worked with—to ascend and become one of the 90s' most luminary DJs.
The tribute mix boasts an eclectic range of artists and DJs. From the Reese Project's "The Color Of Love" remixed by Underground Resistance to MK's "Always" featuring Alana on the NY Stomp Remix, each track captures a facet of the 90s Classic House Music era that's worth revisiting. It's a vibrant mix that beckons you to relive those dance floor moments that defined a generation.
So whether you're a house purist or a circuit aficionado, this set offers a rich palette of sounds that encapsulates the diversity and innovation of 90s Classic House Music.

House Music Classics of the 90s Volume 8: Such A Good Feeling
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Let the beats roll in as we expand our nostalgic journey with "House Music Classics of the 90s Volume 8: Such A Good Feeling." If you’ve been keeping up with Party Favorz, you know we’ve been diving deep into this transformative decade of dance. From the initial sets to the present, every track featured has not just ruled the dance floors but also clinched the top spots on the Billboard Dance Club Music Charts—well, with one outlier, "Funk Boutique" by the Cover Girls.
House Music Classics of the 90s isn’t merely a throwback; it’s a history lesson in sound. If you find yourself bopping along to contemporary tracks, chances are they owe their infectious rhythms to these 90s gems. Take Deskee’s "Dance Dance," for example. The song ingeniously samples a largely forgotten early-80s track. It just proves the enduring, cyclical nature of dance music; today's hits often borrow liberally from yesterday's classics.
Now, onto the setlist for this volume. "Brothers In Rhythm" start the journey with "Such A Good Feeling (DMC Remix by Dimitri)," an absolute dance floor magnet. Then we transition into "Urban Soul’s Show Me (Def Club Mix)," a tune that laid the groundwork for countless dance tracks that followed. "Who Is He And What Is He To You" remixed by DT for Me'Shell Ndegeocello is a soulful reimagining that stays true to the vibe of the decade. And if you're a sucker for vocal-driven beats, don't miss Jaki Graham’s rendition of "Ain’t Nobody (Love To Infinity Classic Paradise Mix)."
These final volumes serves as a compelling closing statement to our journey through House Music Classics of the 90s. The influence these tracks have on today's dance landscape cannot be overstated. Whether you're a Gen Z dance enthusiast or a 90s raver reminiscing about the golden days, this set provides a timeless escape.

90’s House, Techno & Eurodance Classics Volume 2
Friday Nov 17, 2017
Friday Nov 17, 2017
Welcome back, folks! We're diving into Part 2 of the 90's House, Techno & Eurodance Classics, a swirling kaleidoscope of beats that defined an era. This mixtape features an eclectic lineup of artists who not only dominated the dance charts but also left an indelible mark on the music landscape.
Let's kick things off with The Blackout Allstars and their infectious groove "I Like It (Like That)" in the D'Ambrosio Club Mix. This track took the salsa rhythm and spun it into an unforgettable house tune that still keeps dancefloors packed to this day.
Pat & Mick come in with "Use It Up Wear It Out," an essential part of any '90s rave or party. You can feel the intensity in every beat of the Original Extended Mix, exemplifying the freedom and exuberance of the era.
The 49'ers contribute "Touch Me," a seminal Eurodance track that captures the intoxicating blend of electronic beats and sensual vocals. The 49'ers were a project formed in Italy, and this track was one of their signature sounds that helped to solidify the Eurodance genre.
With The Shamen's "L.S.I. (Love Sex Intelligence)," is a journey through electronic rhythms and psychedelic visuals. The Shamen were known for their avant-garde approach to dance music, and this track remains a testament to their inventive style.
Who could forget the C + C Music Factory’s classic, "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)"? The Slammin' Vocal Club Mix featuring iconic Martha Wash belting out "Everybody Dance Now" is a burst of adrenaline that redefined what house music could be.
When Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You" hits, you know it's time to get down. This French house classic, with its infectious loop, became one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Ah, Livin' Joy's "Don't Stop Movin'"—this track embodies the pulsating beats and upbeat lyrics that typify Eurodance. It's a sonic reminder of a simpler time when all you needed was a good tune to lift your spirits.
Felix's "Don't You Want Me" in the Hooj Mix showcases the raving techno subculture of the '90s, a groundbreaking track that still makes us yearn for those warehouse parties.
"Always" by Erasure, presented in the Microbots Trance Dance Mix, is an iconic tune that transcends generations. It combines Vince Clarke's signature songwriting with Andy Bell's poignant vocals, creating an emotional resonance that still captivates listeners today.
Finally, we wrap up with Abigail's mesmerizing "Losing My Religion," an audacious techno reimagining of R.E.M's iconic song. It perfectly encapsulates the transformative power of the dance remix, turning an alternative anthem into a dancefloor masterpiece.
We've sifted through a treasure trove of '90s gems for this mix, encapsulating two glorious hours and thirteen minutes of non-stop dance nostalgia. Whether you're a house aficionado or a techno enthusiast, this mixtape is your VIP ticket back to the golden age of dance music.

90’s House, Techno & Eurodance Classics Volume 1
Wednesday Nov 15, 2017
Wednesday Nov 15, 2017
As I had mentioned in my previous post, these next two sets of 90s House, Techno & Eurodance Classics are an extension of Backspin v4 [90's Euro-Dance] and Backspin v5 [The Cheese Mix].
I went beyond Eurodance in these sets and threw in some borderline House Classics like Enigma's Sadness, 49er's Don't You Love Me, The Original I Luv You Baby, etc. that had the same appeal and fit nicely in between the obvious Eurodance Classics by 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor Never Alone, Le Click Tonight Is the Night, La Bouche Sweet Dreams as well as others.
What sets this apart from its predecessors is the inclusion of Techno which is where classics like Abigail's Constant Craving (remake of the K.D. Lang classic), Friends of Carlota Fingerfoc, The KLF Justified and Ancient and the massive underground track that's like a gift that keeps on giving Give It Up by the Goodmen, which lay the groundwork for a massive party mix.
We've got some garage classics by Arman Van Helden (Spin Spin Sugar and Professional Widow) who frankly had such a massive influence on House Music during the era that his contribution to the scene is often overlooked.
Most importantly, I have a significant amount of cheese sprinkled throughout these two sets. Aqua's Barbie Girl made the cut while crap like Bloodhound Gang's The Bad Touch was left to the dustbin's of house music history. While Macarena by Los Del Rio Boys didn't make the cut, you can't discount its influence today on massive hits like Despacito by Luis Fonsi and more recently Mi Gente by J Balvin & Willy William. As corny as it sometimes came across, the drop-in raps have been left in place as they make up a significant portion in the history of the 90's House Music Classics.
If you love this, you'll equally enjoy pt. 2 dropping on Friday. From there, I'll be heading into straight-up house territory with one new release every other day. This was a massive undertaking but definitely worthwhile. With the exception of the David Morales and Simply Red Legacy tributes, I hadn't really updated the Dance Classics section in a while. After having previewed each one several times, I'm glad I did and am pretty certain many of you will be as well.
That's all I got for your mid-week hump. I'll be back in a couple of days. Until then...ENJOY!

At this rate, finding a job that I'll not only excel at but pays beyond a living wage is more difficult than I thought. I've got my sights on a fast-growing company in the Atlanta region and have been hitting them up on a regular basis. Kinda like a kid pestering their parents for that hard to find toy. Ultimately they give in but in this case, we'll see. I have a virtual career fair coming up on Wednesday for people with disabilities and the company list looks promising.
I've also set up my LinkedIn page if anyone wants to friend me. Due to privacy concerns, I'm not a huge social media fan and rarely if ever divulge information about myself in public; so this is a big deal to me. If you want to hit me up and follow me, you can do that at www.linkedin.com/in/keith-alan-whitworth. It's a work in progress as I refine my resume because I don't have the money to pay someone to do it for me but I'm getting there.
As you can see, I'm on it but it's going to take a little more time than I anticipated.
All of this bodes well for you folks as it gives me more free time to put out awesome podcasts through at least the end of the year. I've renewed my DJ subscription service for 3 months and am still getting promos from labels so there's plenty coming your way through the end of December.
In the meantime, we're going to get down with some brand-spanking new sizzling HOT FunkyDiscoHouseShit! From classic re-works to original future classics, this set has it all.
I've also just finished remastering a whole new BackSpin series that are companion pieces to the 90's Eurodance and Cheese Mix I put out in 2014. More on that later next week.
In the meantime, get down to the brand new sounds of D-I-S-C-O. Enjoy!!!

Madonna: 25 Years of SEX | The Diva Series
Friday Oct 27, 2017
Friday Oct 27, 2017
The upending of the moral majority has been consistent for decades as the self-righteous slunk from one faux outrage after another. No one was more effective in raising their ire than Madonna. As a pop princess in the 80s, she reached the pinnacle of pop stardom with slickly produced vanilla fair that tantalized and tweaked our inner demons. By the end of the decade, she had perfected her dalliances and maximized her persona of controversy and sexuality inviting the kind of criticism that would only serve to make her star shine brighter.
In 1989, she released Like a Prayer to equal amounts of praise and criticism. The lead single's video portrayed a black Jesus Christ as a sexual object. This affront to religion was considered apostasy by Christians. The follow-up single Express Yourself was a testament to female empowerment and respect. While the production values of the album relied on the smooth pop structure of her previous efforts, the Shep Pettibone remixes of these songs capitalized on the burgeoning underground House Music scene at the time, taking the songs to an entirely new level.
In 1990, Madonna took that sound mainstream with the release of Vogue off of the "I'm Breathless: Music from and Inspired by the Film Dick Tracy". That same year, she released the semi-greatest hits package The Immaculate Collection which sold over 30 million copies worldwide and has gone on to be one of the biggest-selling albums of all time. More controversy ensued as the sexually charged video for the lead single Justify My Love which contained imagery of sadomasochism, voyeurism, and bisexuality¹ was initially banned from MTV and then allowed to air only after midnight. Because of the limited airplay, the video was released as a VHS single (the first of its kind) and went on to sell over a million copies.
By 1992, all bets were off and Madonna had not only secured a new multimedia deal in conjunction with Time Warner worth $60 million but simultaneously released her first album on the new label Maverick Records entitled Erotica along with the coffee table book of sexual fantasies entitled SEX. The album itself received mixed reviews from critics but by most standards is now considered one of her greatest works. Erotica is a concept album about sex and romance, incorporating her alter ego named Mistress Dita, inspired by actress Dita Parlo. Some songs also take on a more confessional tone, influenced by the loss of Madonna's two close friends to AIDS.²
The book was critically panned even by fans who felt she had taken sexual matters too far. Its intention was not only to provoke but to allow people to openly discuss their sexual desires and fantasies; often things they were already doing under the covers. Through the years, however, critical reception towards Sex has become more positive, with academics deeming it a defining phase in Madonna's career. Sex is noted for its impact on society and culture as well as on Madonna herself, and is considered a bold, post-feminist work of art.³
1989 until the beginning of the millennium was not only the most productive and experimental work Madonna has ever produced but it was the same time that I became sexually woke. As a young gay man from small-town America, dancing my ass off to Express Yourself at Rich's in Houston with more gay men than I had ever witnessed in my entire life empowered me to move forward and be open about who I am. It just happened to coincide with Madonna's extended middle finger to all the prudes and religious zealots who would later be plagued by their sexual demons. Oh, the hypocrisy.
Erotica and the SEX coffee table book now stand as some of the most important works by any artist of the 20th century. Madonna certainly wasn't the first and owes a great deal of gratitude to Grace Jones, Deborah Harry, Donna Summer, and others that had preceded her. Nevertheless, she paved the way for artists like Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Britney Spears,

Fall Edition 2017
Friday Oct 06, 2017
Friday Oct 06, 2017
It appears we've come to the end of the road. Fall Edition 2017 represents the full circle Party Favorz has taken since the very first post on October 7, 2007. It's been a long ride with a lot of bumps along the way.
I've been an avid fan of music from the day I was born. My brain is like an encyclopedia of pop music, hits and misses as well as off the beaten path of underground classics. I can't think of a time that music hasn't played an important part in my life. I tend to associate all the moments (good and bad) with whatever was on the radio at the time or heavily played in a club that I frequented. I virtually have a lifetime of musical memories stored in my tiny brain.
Running Party Favorz has become a full-time job and one that doesn't pay very much LOL. At this moment, one of my main plugins is being troubleshooted on a dummy site I set up so that the developer can figure out the problem. It's been one constant headache after another but one I've learned a lot from and gained quite a bit of knowledge in coding and formatting to make this site run the way I want.
Granted, most of you access my podcast via other forms like Apple Music, Google Play, Tunein or whatever RSS feed service you may use without ever encountering my site but once. Hence, my traffic is steady but nothing to write home about. It's all about the numbers counted in streams and downloads that give me a real sense of how the podcast is being utilized and how many folks are engaging with it.
This has been a rollercoaster ride and I want to thank EVERYONE that has contributed to my ongoing efforts all these years; especially those of you who have been following me since day one. I won't mention names because there are a ton of you. Just know that I am forever grateful.
That being said, those very people know that I can flip a switch on a dime and have left, then came back and then left again. This time feels more certain as I try to apply my newfound skills to an actual job that pays a living wage or better. Regardless, I'll keep the doors open though I may turn the site into a pay per episode for those just now stumbling onto everything this site has to offer. Make sure you grab and backup what you need because I can't say when that will happen but likely sometime this month.
You never know if I decide to drop in from time to time with a little something, something but definitely not on the fast and furious scale my output usually consists of; just when I'm in need of a distraction. If I do, I do. If I don't, then I've got more pressing issues to attend to.
For now, soak in this massive set of circuit tribal scorchers and pump, Pump...PUMP IT UP! Enjoy ; )

HW2017

Thursday Oct 05, 2017
First, the HW17 actually has nothing to do with Halloween. No spooky tunes or effects, just plain ole Top EDM & Dance tunes currently playing or coming to a club near you soon.
As I wind down the site, I wanted to go out with a bang which is why I resigned myself to completing at least one more of these and a Circuit set for the boys (dropping tomorrow).
To be honest, I've truly lost interest in doing this, the music is repetitive and boring. When I am truly engaged like with the Spin Me 'Round set I just released, nobody really likes it. Frankly, I thought it was one of the most exciting sets I've put out in a while, mainly because of its diversity and uniqueness but I'll digress.
At the end of the day, my heart just isn't into it but I didn't want to leave things with the Simply Red Legacy set even though that's moved into the top ten most downloaded and streamed sets I've ever put out (go figure).
HW17 was completed in one sitting. I pretty much threw everything in including the kitchen sink to cover all of my bases. I've only had a small amount of time to skim it so if there are any errors, let me know and I'll try to correct them (hopefully not).
That's all I got for now. Until the next time...ENJOY!
One other thing, there are issues with this podcast that I am aware of. With almost 4,000 downloads no one bothered to bring it to my attention, so I never went back and fixed it. C'est la vie!
