SIZZLING HOT Circuit Anthems of Summer!
Saturday Aug 12, 2023
Saturday Aug 12, 2023
As if this hasn't been the hottest summer ever recorded, Party Favorz is back and ready to heat up your summer even further with our annual Summer Edition for 2023 featuring a pulsating lineup of circuit anthems with the biggest circuit tribal house! This time, the beat is wild, and the rhythm is tribal. We're here to take you on a sonic adventure that has everything from nostalgia to the latest big tribal house hits.
We kick things off with a heart-rending tribute mix dedicated to an icon whose recent loss is still a heavy weight on our hearts. Who can forget the magnetic song "Nothing Compares 2 U" from 1990? Well, Israel's Tomer Maizner has turned this tear-jerker into an enormous big room remix. It's a tribute that manages to honor the original while turning it into a colossal sing-a-long for the broken-hearted.
Not to be left behind, Kylie Minogue's unstoppable summer hit "Padam Padam" is transformed into a big room sensation by Toy Armada, an artist known for his creativity and flair. The essence of circuit tribal house is alive and well, especially with collaborations like the one between Toy Armada and Jace M on hits like "Alone" by Kim Petras, featuring Nicki Minaj. Their combination delivers a force that resonates with the dance floor, leaving everyone craving more.
But what's a summer without some classics reinvented? Guy Scheiman makes a triumphant return with a progressive remake of Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff," while Dario Xavier adds his unique touch to current hits and classic Eurodance sensations. These sounds, rich with the essence of circuit anthems, will have you dancing like never before.
Party Favorz's commitment to innovation is also reflected in our efforts to blend the Circuit & Anthem series with our Tea Dance collections. The goal? To enhance the listening experience without becoming repetitive. And when we call upon our creative geniuses like Jace M & Toy Armada, they rise to the challenge. The mantle of remix duty, once filled by the likes of Hex Hector, Almighty, and 7th Heaven, now proudly resides with Dirty Disco, creating floor-stompers that are original and mesmerizing.
Our love for the dance floor goes beyond one style, as Dirty Disco brings gems like Rita Ora's "You and I" and "GODDESS" by Keeana Kee and Ariana Castelli. These tracks encapsulate the spirit of the LGBTQ community, uplifting and empowering.
Keep an eye on DJs like Ray Isaac, who's taken his game to a whole new level. With remixes of Eurovision winners and potential pop superstars, Isaac shows that Dirty Disco isn't the only game in town, as he carves a niche for himself in the world of circuit anthems and circuit tribal house.
Summer Edition 2023 is a snapshot of the evolution in our series, reflecting a broader and more vibrant dance music landscape. It's an all-inclusive package that we believe you'll love as much as we enjoyed putting it together. Until the next time...ENJOY!
Lastly, we'd like to address an urgent matter that affects the future of Party Favorz. Our commitment to quality and integrity has been the cornerstone of our 16-year journey, bringing you the highest caliber podcast episodes. Recently, we discovered some technical glitches with our Donation portal that may have hindered our supporters' efforts to contribute. We've addressed the issue, ensuring transparency and trust.

The HOTTEST Tech House & Techno Songs of Summer
Saturday Aug 05, 2023
Saturday Aug 05, 2023
Party Favorz is back with an electrifying journey that'll leave you dancing 'til dawn. Get ready to "Break the Floor" with the latest Peak Hour set, a banging collection of some of the summer's hottest Tech House and Techno songs. Oh, and it's not just your ordinary set. Let me break it down for you:
If you're craving that late-night vibe with a mix of Breaks, Bass House, and Big Room, this is the set for you. I'm talking tunes that'll practically blow a hole through your speakers! The energy in this Peak Hour compilation is through the roof, mixing fresh Tech House and Techno beats.
CASSIMM's "In My Mind" is a standout, showing the artist's versatility, crossing over into House, Funky House, Tech House, and beyond. This is a Party Favorz favorite for sure. Then, there's the competition between Skrillex x Boys Noize "Fine Day Anthem" spinning the classic "It's a Fine Day" by Miss Jane into an unforgettable dancefloor gem.
Ever thought about how classics like "Born Slippy" by Underworld could get a new twist? Meduza does just that, bringing their signature style with "Friends", and others like Sam Supplier & Marlon Sadler turn the Alice Deejay classic "Better Off Alone" into a Peak Hour Tech House sensation. Techno lovers, don't worry, Eli Brown's got you covered with "Love Is Free."
It was only a matter of time before Los Del Rio's 90s classic "Macarena" got sampled and Dave Winnel's "Alegria" gives it a Tech House facelift that's pure fire! And don't get me started on "Eat Your Man" by Dom Dolla & Nelly Furtado – that's getting play EVERYWHERE.
"Break the Floor" almost didn't see the light of day, but trust me, the final version's worth the wait. It's a testament to Party Favorz's commitment to only bringing the freshest tunes to the table.
Whether you're a Tech House enthusiast, a Techno addict, or just someone looking to spice up your Peak Hour dance sessions, "Break the Floor" has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this one.
Until the next time... ENJOY!

Top Dance Songs of Summer — HEAT 2023
Sunday Jul 30, 2023
Sunday Jul 30, 2023
As the sun blazes its trail across the sky, the season of sundresses, flip-flops, and ice-cold cocktails is officially here. With it comes a soundtrack like no other - the top dance songs of summer 2023. HEAT 2023 episode has curated an eclectic selection that will take you on a wild ride through House Music, Tech House, Future House, and Progressive House.
Let's kick things off with a blast from the past - Rihanna's bop "Don't Stop The Music", reincarnated by ATCG. This version brings new vigor to a beloved classic, infusing it with an electrifying House beat that commands you to get moving.
Next up, Tim Hidgem transports us back to the 80s with his reinterpretation of George Kranz's industrial marvel, "Din Daa Daa". Hidgem adds a fresh twist to the original, turning it into an irresistible summer anthem.
Who can resist the allure of 90s techno, especially when it's the iconic "It's A Fine Day" by Miss Jane? Cloonee takes on the challenge of modernizing this classic, resulting in "Fine Night", a track that's as tantalizing as a starlit summer evening. There's also an excellent version called "A Fine Anthem" by Skrillex x Boys Noize which will be making an apperance on next week's Peak Hour release.
And that's not all. The EDM maestro Zedd breathes new life into "Where You Are" extending the life of this massive hit by John Summitt & Hayla from the spring. The remix strikes the perfect balance between the charm of the original and Zedd's signature electro-infused style.
As the sun reaches its zenith, we're whisked away down under with Australia's Midnight Dance Party and their sun-soaked anthem, "Sunshine". This tune is quintessential summer - warm, carefree, and absolutely irresistible.
When it comes to top dance songs of summer 2023, nothing captures the season's vibrancy better than the high-energy beats from Gabry Ponte & Hosanna's "One By One" which samples the 90s the Deep Dish remix of the House Music classic "Make the World Go 'Round", Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson's "0800 Heaven", and Calvin Harris' collaboration with Sam Smith, "Desire". These are the tracks you'll find yourself blasting on repeat as the temperatures rise.
Switch Disco throws a curveball our way with their energetic mashup "React" and Inpetto's remix of "Toca Me" by Fragma. The result? A floor-filling masterpiece. Meanwhile, Dirty Disco reinvents Troy Sivan's uber-gay "Rush", taking this sultry hit and reimagining it as an anthemic Big Room House tune.
MinoKy · Troye Sivan - Rush (Dirty Disco Pillow Biters Remix)
The current top dance song on the Beatport dance chart, "Nanana" by Peggy Gou, also makes the cut. The fiery remix by dEVOLVE x Smith & Sorren turns this hit into a sure-fire dance floor scorcher.
The rhythms of Brazil spill through the speakers with SOFI TUKKER's "Jacaré", a sensual dance track that pairs perfectly with Axel Paerel's "Makeba". The latter stands out with its unique flavor and multiple versions by different artists making waves in numerous playlists.
Kim Petras returns to the scene with a bang, teaming up with Nicki Minaj for "Alone". They skillfully sample Alice Deejay's 90s hit "Better Off Alone", bringing a touch of nostalgia to this club-ready banger.
Finally, we would be remiss to not include Tiesto's remix of the playful 90s dance classic "Barbie Girl" by Aqua because of the massive success of the self-titled movie based on the Mattel doll. This remix keeps the spirit of the original alive but cranks up the intensity for a festival-worthy version.
Ultimately, there is no filler here. The HEAT 2023 podcast delivers an unforgettable summer soundtrack, skillfully blending classics and contemporary hits. The result? A playlist as diverse and exciting as summer itself. So, let the top dance songs of summer 2023 be the beat to your summer parties - tune in, turn it up, and let the music move you. Until the next time...ENJOY!

Old School Music From the 80s and 90s Reimagined
Sunday Jul 09, 2023
Sunday Jul 09, 2023
Kick off the summer vibes with our refreshing "Summer Throwback" extravaganza 2023! Party Favorz is dialing back the clock and pumping up the volume with funky house music that blends the nostalgic charm of old school music from the 80s, and 90s with the rhythmic energy of the 00s.
Every track in our Summer Throwback 2023 playlist is like a sunbeam - a bright reinterpretation of those beloved party classics, remixed with a contemporary twist. From full-length masterpieces to sampled layers of different eras, each song blends old school charisma with modern magic. The result? The perfect soundtrack for a pool party or BBQ bash with friends this summer.
Block & Crown (Adri Block) reign supreme in the niche sphere of Funky House Music, with Ghostbusterz, Nari, and Richard Grey adding their unique spark to this vibrant genre. Our summer throwback playlist is a tribute to these maestros of funky house music.
The tracks in our Summer Throwback 2023 collection aren't just memorable - they sparkle with fresh productions, capturing your heart like never before. Since last year's Summer Throwback release, I've been amassing these tunes, handpicking each one to create a soul-stirring, foot-tapping experience.
After a marathon session of curating, mixing, and tweaking, the initial playlist boasted over six hours of toe-tapping tunes. They posed a unique challenge, many lacking DJ-friendly intros and outros, but we're all about facing challenges head-on here at Party Favoz. Even after trimming it down by an hour, we're left with a substantial party mix that promises endless hours of enjoyment.
The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of projets, and the upcoming weeks promise even more of the same. Nevertheless, I'm committed to providing the best of summer vibes. Keep an ear out for a new Beach House, Peak Hour (fingers crossed!), Top EDM, and our annual Summer Edition - all landing over the next month. We guarantee a season full of sonic jams to fuel your summer fun.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

The Top EDM Songs of the Year…So Far!
Sunday Jun 25, 2023
Sunday Jun 25, 2023
Party Favorz is thrilled to bring you our annual "Catch-Up" compilation, showcasing the Top EDM songs that have rocked the Dance Club scene in 2023.
This playlist speaks for itself, but we've also included some standout tracks from 2022 like "I'm Good (Blue)" by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha and "Drugs From Amsterdam" by Mau P. These tracks dominated dance clubs with their lasting appeal. One of these persistent tunes is "Moving All Around (Jumpin')" by Schak & the late Kim English, a high-octane song that gained significant traction towards the end of 2022. Due to its irresistible catchiness, Party Favorz confidently places it among the best EDM songs of 2023.
Among the new entries, Kylie Minogue's contagious "Padam Padam" leads the pack. This track has exploded across Dance Clubs and looks set to re-establish the Australian diva on the pop charts. Also creating a stir are "To Be Real" by Wuki & Lee Foss featuring the sensational Cheryl Lynn, and the mesmerizing "Paradise" from Sophie & the Giants' collaboration with Purple Disco Machine.
Rita Ora revives the 1999 alt-dance classic "Praise You" by Fatboy Slim in her latest work, "Praising You." The reimagined track retains the original's uplifting elements and cool vibes, proving the resurgence of classic hits (like "I'm Good (Blue)" — a take on Eiffel 65's 1999 classic "Blue (Da Ba Dee)") in the Top EDM scene.
To round off, Kelly Clarkson returns with a new album featuring her collaboration with David Guetta on "Favorite Kind Of High," notable for its brilliant synths and catchy hook. It's a testament to Kelly's status as a true artist and ardent supporter of LGBTQ+ causes.
Other than these, all tracks on the "Catch-Up 2023" compilation should already be on your EDM radar and included in your Apple Music or Spotify playlist. Stay tuned for more Top EDM tracks that define the Dance Club scene later this summer. Until the next time...ENJOY!

Gay Anthems For A New Generation 2023 Volume 2
Saturday Jun 10, 2023
Saturday Jun 10, 2023
As the wave of Gay Pride celebrations swells across the globe, Party Favorz is set to keep the rainbow connection alive and kicking with the release of Volume 2 of the 2023 Gay Anthems For A New Generation series.
This sequel compilation is brimming with reimagined gay anthems by industry legends such as Donna Summer, ABBA, Kylie Minogue (who, incidentally, is riding high with a chart-topping hit as we speak), Adele, Pet Shop Boys, Ultra Nate, Robyn, Cher, Madonna, Whitney Houston, and countless more beloved divas.
The roster of tracks in this collection doesn't warrant a detailed introduction — each song and artist holds a distinctive place in the heart of the LGBTQ+ community and has contributed significantly to its vibrant culture.
With resources permitting, Party Favorz has ambitious plans in the pipeline — a Gay Pride circuit and anthems set slated for launch next week. Creating these music sets can often run up a bill north of $100. The challenge lies in the fact that the songs earmarked for these special circuit compilations are not readily available on the DJ service we rely on. Most of these need to be procured from alternate online platforms like Beatport or directly from the DJ's Bandcamp page (though several are free on Soundcloud). Nevertheless, we are committed to making it happen and will do our utmost to deliver a fresh set for our devoted circuit boys.
Remember to stay proud and keep the celebration going. Let the anthems of unity, love, and acceptance echo in every corner of the world. Until the next time...ENJOY!
The transition between "When Love Takes Over (David Michael vs. Almighty 2K20 Pride Remix)" by Kelly Rowland and "Vogue (Division 4 Extended Mix)" by Madonna has been corrected.

Gay Anthems For A New Generation 2023 Volume 1
Friday Jun 09, 2023
Friday Jun 09, 2023
Party Favorz returns with our much-anticipated annual release: Gay Anthems For A New Generation 2023! This compilation celebrates iconic modern Gay Pride anthems and their importance to the LGBTQ+ community.
The 2023 selection revitalizes legendary anthems from the past half-century, presenting them in an updated format for today's dancefloors. We bring you the most emblematic, compelling songs that echo the universal messages of love, unity, resilience, and defiance within our community.
Kicking off this collection, we've selected the ever-resilient anthem, "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. It's featured in an exquisite, previously unexplored version - Eric Kupper's House remix, offering a gentle start before escalating into high-energy beats.
The list also highlights Whitney Houston's timeless hit, "I Will Always Love You" in a Julian Marsh remix, and Diana Ross' empowering track "I'm Coming Out," remixed by Barry Harris. Each song carries significant meaning for our community, often becoming soundtracks to personal stories of love, acceptance, and identity.
Other standouts include Lizzo's "Everybody's Gay" and Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," showing the continual evolution of queer music. Toni Braxton's heart-wrenching "Un-Break My Heart" and CeCe Peniston's classic "Finally," both in revamped remixes, add to the rich tapestry of our anthems.
To ensure these powerful messages resonate with listeners, we've chosen remixes that retain the essence of each anthem while injecting a modern energy, making these tunes relatable to the current LGBTQ+ generation. The curation of these modern Gay Pride anthems of 2023 was a challenging task due to the abundance of choices, but we are confident we've selected the most impactful tracks that resonate globally.
Our goal was to craft a collection that honors the past while embracing the future, mirroring the continual progress within our community. So, turn up the volume, let the music inspire you, and remember: these songs aren't just anthems; they're a testament to our journey, resilience, and pride.
Stay tuned for the release of volume 2 of the 2023 Gay Anthems For A New Generation collection, filled with more modern Gay Pride anthems to soundtrack your celebrations. Enjoy and keep the pride alive!

The Latest Tech House, Bass House and Techno
Sunday May 28, 2023
Sunday May 28, 2023
In the midst of moving this weekend, I was able to complete the Peak Hour "Throw Your Hands Up" - a set I finished over a week ago and features the latest Tech House, Bass House, Techno, and more!
That being said, I can't help but notice a trend in the dance music industry. The volume of new releases is declining, particularly in commercial dance. Gone are the days when big music labels paid top-tier DJs to remix their tracks. Even remix bootlegs are getting scarce nowadays.
Genres like Tech House, which once dominated dance floors, have been diluted, and now, Bass House and Big Room is stepping into the limelight. However, most of it echoes the sounds of Future House and EDM, which themselves were successors to Electro House. Personally, I see potential in the Breaks or Breakbeat genre, but I'm aware of its limited appeal. Even Techno can be a bit redundant but when it's done right — it's hot!
This year hasn't seen many ground-breaking tracks capable of electrifying dancefloors worldwide. Billboard Magazine discontinuing its Dance Club chart could be a significant factor behind this. Instead, we're seeing songs primarily made for streaming, with no extended versions, and a lack of originality in the new releases that heavily rely on past hits. Let's face it — these songs are not paying homage rather they're being lazy in writing and creating new sounds.
This scarcity of fresh content is likely to lead to shorter sets, with Dance Classics compilations being the exception. What's concerning is the growing trend of music charts being skewed by tactics like bundling CD sales with ticket sales and merch, and having all the tracks off an album by the biggest artists charting without official releases or videos.
Frankly, Spotify is the bane of my existence and has been the worst thing for the entire music industry. Everything is about singles and streaming with only the biggest artists profiting from it. It's completely destroyed the validity of the Billboard Top 100 and album chart, with Billboard being complicit in how they're now ranking songs. With Spotify stuffing big releases into everyone's playlist no matter if they follow the artist or not — it's starting to give the appearance of RICO violations or what used to be known in the industry as pay to play but I digress because I'm not a lawyer only a music fan. This is NOT an indictment of their service, but if it walks like a duck...
Despite these tectonic shifts, the role of Party Favorz remains the same. Our mission is to navigate through the dynamics of the industry, bringing you the finest and most innovative trends in Tech House, Bass House, Techno, and beyond! We're committed to our task, even if the industry seems to be lacking in many aspects.
On a closing note, Gay Pride will hopefully commence next week, or the week after at the latest. In the meantime, make sure you keep the music playing, and always remember to...ENJOY!
Moving back into our old apartment has been a pain in the ass - especially when you consider the escalating costs due to inflation. Just moving a few doors down ended up costing $1,200 both ways. And that's not even counting the additional $700 we had to spend to mount and run wiring for two TVs. When you compare that to the prices we paid when we first moved here in 2017, you realize just how significant the inflation has become.

Celebrating Tina Turner: A Tribute Dance Mix Honoring the Queen of Rock & Soul
Thursday May 25, 2023
Thursday May 25, 2023
dijuhj5f Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939) — the trailblazing, irrepressible "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" — has passed away. Her impact on music and pop culture cannot be overstated. In her honor, Party Favorz is reposting her induction into the Diva Hall of Fame, celebrating a life and career that transcended and redefined boundaries.
From the turbulent beginnings as Ike & Tina Turner's dynamic frontwoman, she rose from the ashes of an abusive relationship to shine as a solo performer. Tina's influence reached across genres, nations, and generations. Her 1984 breakthrough album, "Private Dancer," catapulted her to the apex of music stardom, establishing her as a powerhouse with an indomitable spirit and a voice that left an indelible mark on the world of music.
Throughout her career, Tina Turner accrued an impressive list of accolades: 12 Grammy Awards, recognition as the first black artist to grace Rolling Stone's cover, inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and standing among the best-selling artists of all time. Turner never stopped pushing boundaries, not even in her twilight years. She embarked on a worldwide tour from 2008 - 2009, followed by the "Tina! 50th Anniversary Tour," which stood as the 9th highest grossing tour of 2009.
Tina Turner's contribution to music wasn't confined to rock and roll. Her work found resonance on dance floors in the 80s and 90s, thanks to extended dance versions and remixes of her songs, which bridged the gap to the emerging house music scene. Notably, "When the Heartache Is Over" from her final album "Twenty Four Seven" found major success after being remixed for the dancefloor.
Not just a musical phenomenon, Tina Turner also emerged as a gay icon, commanding a massive fan following within the LGBTQ+ community. This recognition led to her well-deserved induction into the Diva Hall of Fame.
As we remember Tina Turner, we acknowledge her vast musical catalogue that encompassed various styles, genres, and tempos. Her music was a testament to her talent, transcending boundaries and blending effortlessly into various musical landscapes.
Tonight, as HBO re-airs the documentary "Tina," we bid farewell to this musical maverick. At 80, Tina Turner leaves behind a legacy that is as grand as it is inspiring. She gifted the world six decades of her unique sound, leaving an indelible mark on music and culture. As we honor the incomparable Tina Turner's entry into the Diva Hall of Fame, we remember and celebrate her life, her exceptional career, and the joy she brought into our lives. Tina, you will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Queen.

Funky House Music to Kickstart Your Summer
Saturday May 20, 2023
Saturday May 20, 2023
As the temperatures rise, Party Favorz is already diving headfirst into summer with our latest Funky House Music offering, "Feel the Groove". This set is a grand collection of the hottest House Music, NuDisco, and Deep House tracks presently igniting dance floors worldwide. Consider "Feel the Groove" your early ticket to our upcoming pre-summer music extravaganza.
This funky house music set starts off with a bang, featuring a fresh reinterpretation of the Soulsearcher classic "Feelin' Love" by DJ Fudge. This is quickly followed by Earth N Days' big room funky house track, "The Kinda Love". Earth N Days have been a staple in our sets since they exploded onto the scene in 2017 with "Just Be Good To Me" – a track that bagged the top spot on Beatport's year-end charts. Since then, they've been churning out tunes that any DJ, regardless of their experience level, would be proud to spin. Notable Earth N Days' contributions in our set include "In My House" and their remix of Hotswing's "Work It".
We've also refreshed some all-time favorites for this set, including Eelke Kleijn and Lee Cabrera's spin on Laura Branigan's "Self Control", Buth & Nic Fanciulli's reinterpretation of Marvin Gaye's "I Want You", and the 90s House classic "Another Sleepless Night" revamped by Shawn Christopher & Mike Wilson. In an unexpected twist, Shapeshifters have even revisited their own classic, "Lolas Theme", giving it a new life through a VIP remix.
Arguably, the titan of this set is "Fresh" by Crazibiza. This track ingeniously samples "Private Number" by Judy Clay & William Bell (1968), intertwined with the iconic vocals from "Somethings Got a Hold On Me" by the legendary Etta James, which was also famously sampled in Avicii's "Levels". The intertwining of these samples is not entirely new and was initially heard in "You Wish" by Nightmares On Wax, featured in our 2011 Chill Edition, "The World We Live In". But as the adage goes, a good sample is a good sample, and Crazibiza has indeed made it even better.
A quick personal update: As some of you may recall, Rick and I were victims of a flooding incident last Christmas, which displaced us into temporary housing. But we're happy to report that our unit has been fully restored and we're moving back in next week. Anticipate our next Peak Hour set to drop a bit earlier than usual – on Thursday of next week. Until then, we invite you to dive into the latest funky house music for summer with "Feel the Groove"!
Until the next time...ENJOY!
