EDM & House Music: Party Favorz (Circuit, Funky & Dance Classics)

Party Favorz is a dance music podcast and mix series, founded by Keith (aka K j A M), that has been producing and distributing mixes since 2007.
The project’s origins trace back to 1999 in South Texas, where Keith was DJing at a gay bar. After-hours parties were a local staple, and Keith’s branded mix CDs became known as "party favorz"—a nickname that stuck.
The podcast was born by accident on a music-focused blog. Encouraged by friends, Keith’s blogging evolved into Party Favorz, a brand now connecting disco, house, EDM, and circuit trends to a global audience.
At its heart, Party Favorz is about celebration and inclusiveness. No matter who you are, there’s a place for you on the dance floor. It's about providing a soundtrack that serves any moment in your life—whether you're at the gym, poolside, or simply in need of joy.
So, crank it up and get the party started!

Perhaps it's a bit presumptive of me to post this before the polls have closed, but the current polling suggests that Barack Obama has a healthy 11 point lead over John McCain, well over the margin of error. If those stats are to be believed, then this country, for the first time in our history, will have put a black man in the Oval Office. Even more significant, are the record 29 million votes already cast in early voting. Coupled with all of the voting to take place today, this election has engaged Americans like no other election in history and is quite possibly one of the most memorable events of my lifetime. If Michelle Obama was only recently proud of her country for the first time in her life, I can honestly say the same thing.
Certainly, we approach that sentiment from a different perspective, but I understand the intolerance, the hatred, the bigotry behind those views. As a disabled, gay American, I get it from all sects of society. Nevertheless, I am a product of my Catholic conservative parents and retain many of the same values that were instilled in me since birth. I believe in the "American Dream". I believe that anyone can rise from difficult circumstances to make a better life for themselves and those they love. Barack Obama's rise to the top only confirms that belief. It is for this very reason I continue to persevere in my daily struggles to find a job, to make a comfortable living for myself and my partner. Barack didn't give up, and nor will I. This is truly a time to celebrate.
With that, I bring you the first of four mixes celebrating the ascendancy of President Obama. Folks, it's time to P-A-R-T-Y!!! The first half of this mix is admittedly self-indulgent. It's where the old meets the new. It's party music for happy people. It's funky, it's fabulous...it's DISCO! When I started working on the mix, I didn't have a lot to work with, so I decided that I would reach back to when I started this blog in November of last year and pulled out a bunch of my favorite funky tunes at the time. I coupled that with a few goodies from earlier this year, plus a bunch of new stuff and some updated disco classics. All told, between the four mixes, there isn't a loser in the bunch...yup, it's that good!
So, squeeze into those low-riding bell-bottoms and slip on those platforms, because honey, we're gonna boogie 2 nite! Don't be deterred by any lawsuits brought on by those poor loser Republicans. Once the stations call the election I want everyone dancing in the streets with your boomboxes. Get down, boogie oogie oogie, shake, shake, shake...shake your booty like there's no tomorrow! Just remember, this party goes on all week. I'll be back each day with a new mix for your weekend blowout.
BE PROUD AND PLAY IT LOUD!

Halloween Edition 2008 Volume 3
Wednesday Oct 29, 2008
Wednesday Oct 29, 2008
I decided to go ahead and put this out a day early because I'm going to be busy most of the afternoon and expect to be spending Thursday in the hospital being poked and prodded. Friday I get a reprieve but have to go back on Saturday for about 6 hours worth of MRI's. I had been in pretty extreme pain for about two weeks, and those dumb-ass doctors wouldn't give me painkillers (something most doctors are reluctant to do here in the states since it's heavily regulated and they have to account for and justify the prescription). Anyway, they finally put me on steroids which seems to work just fine, but even then they didn't give me enough to get through the day. Three pills a day lasts about 8 hours before I need to take it again. I am generally persistent until I get what I want, but won't pursue it until I'm about out. Hopefully, the results from all these tests (most I'm certain unnecessary, but when you're insured to the hilt...) will be in this next week.
Oh well, my misery is your gain. After all, there's enough here that I could have spun off a separate mix, but that would require another cover and I couldn't find another image that was high quality and embodied the spirit of the holiday (at least after I was through with it). As you can see above, this ones takes the cake from the previous two as this guy truly looks like Lucifer waiting to seduce you into some sadistic orgy. Ah hell, sign me up...LOL.
The beginning of the mix starts where take 2 left off before turning seriously deeper and darker. No need to worry, it eventually evolves back into the electro with some mainstream goodies that had showed up in earlier editions and are just now packing the floors. I'm really proud of the overall mixes, including the flow and diversity.
A couple of other things of note; as you can see I'm pretty much finished updating the site. I've got a couple of minor things to fix, but nothing too big. I've also re-added the chat box on the lower left-hand side for those that seem to be shy about using the comment section of the site. If you wanna give it another shot, I removed (for now) the word verification (I personally hate that) to make it easier to post. I'll leave it that way as long as I don't start getting a bunch of drive-by bots posting crap in the comments section. I've just started digging into next week's House Edition or as I would like to call it "Obama's Victory Funky Mix" and boy oh boy is this gonna be the SH!TS! It's chalk full of new and old funky, disco house that's sure to have your toes tapping and your booty shaking. Now that's something to celebrate!
That's all I got for now; sorry I don't plan on reviewing the songs this go around, I've been up all night putting this together and probably should get some sleep soon. I hope everyone enjoys these mixes as much as I did making them since I worked my ass off (probably more than usual). I also hope everyone has a safe and hauntingly fabulous Halloween, and I'll be back early this next week with the first of four mixes for Obama's Victory Mix. Oh yeah, Sunday is my birthday, so if ya wanna give me a shout out, that would be nice. I'll catch everyone later...ENJOY!
Update: Well I just got up and it's 2:00 in the afternoon. It looks like I finally got the mix uploaded and now need to shower and grab a bite before heading out. Geez, uploading has become such a chore lately, it's taking forever. Thanks, Comcast...it's Comcraptic!

Tuesday Oct 28, 2008
As promised, I've got the second installment of the Halloween Edition. I hope everyone has their costumes put together for Friday's celebration. In keeping with the theme, I'm serving up one wicked ass mix! Surprisingly, I don't have much to say at the moment, so I'll just let it speak for itself. I'll be back Thursday with the final installment, which is massive, to say the least; so make room, cause that will be one big MF!
On another note, you may have heard that Jennifer Hudson recently lost her mother, brother, and nephew to a horrible tragedy in Chicago. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family during this difficult time, and it is my hope that justice is rendered in this tragic situation.
Peace.

As we move closer to the end of October and deeper into autumn, everyone's favorite time of the year to get freaky is just around the corner. Of course, I'm talking about Halloween. It's a time of chills and thrills and the opportunity for many to live out their fantasies, if only for one night. Frankly, I've never been one to get all excited about dressing up for the occasion. I'm not really sure why; but, it sure is fun to go out to the bars and check everyone out in their wildest costumes. I think the last time I dressed up was some years ago when I came home from college and went out with some friends to one of the new bars that had just opened up. My friend Tery was bartending that night and he and his partner were dressed up as Captain Kirk and Lieutenant O'Whora! The Lieutenant had strapped on a Dolly Parton-size bra and filled it with these humongous water balloons. She'd be behind the bar just shaking those things as fast as she could whip up a Cosmo.
Another friend Robbie dressed up as a prince (flawless considering he had his housekeeper sew it for him) and Steve and Eloy a couple who owned a high-end salon, dressed up as matching honey bees, also handmade and ingenious if not cute. I was wearing a brand new purple Axis shirt that I had bought in Dallas just before coming down, some black Girbauds, and black leather lace-up casual sneakers (I forget what the brand was, not that it matters) that I picked up at my dad's store earlier in the day. When asked what I was, I simply stated that I came as a grape. The first response was "honey, we already knew that because you lost your cherry a long, long time ago"! I kinda expected that one, but not over and over again all night. I left by midnight and went clubbing in Mexico with some friends. Good thing I did, because that was the night of the infamous stripper squatting on a bottle of Bud. The place got raided and was shut down for good. Glad I missed out on that one! Now, I'm not telling you this story to bum you out on Halloween, go out and have fun, be yourself, or better yet, be whoever you want to be, just don't carry it over into work as they may not appreciate that side of you. You better believe I'll be checking out all the freaks on Friday! I wouldn't miss it for the world.
So here it is...my first Halloween Edition since starting this blog. Actually, my first in a long time, since last year I did a Fall Edition and the year before was my Decadence Edition in place of Halloween. I've loaded it with all sorts of goodies for my kiddies. While the first two mixes lean heavily toward the Circuit crowd, I wouldn't discount them too quickly. There are some real gems in here and you never know when you might find a treat. Let's face it, you'll treasure your treats longer than that trick you end up regretting the next day. By the end of the second mix, you'll see that it takes a different direction which carries on into the third mix (the one I think everyone will be all over). Ultimately, you get a lot of tribal and progressive mixed in with some funky, electro, mainstream, and even a trance number at the end. Overall, I'm really proud of the final outcome and worked really hard putting this together for you guys, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
I'll be dispensing a new mix every other day until Thursday. That should give everyone planning their Halloween events enough time to digest the music and decide if that will be your soundtrack for that fabulous party you're going to throw. You know, the one where anyone that's someone WILL be attending. I hope everyone had a great weekend and I'll be back on Tuesday with take 2 of the mix...until then, ENJOY!

I'm serving up the final installment of the Deep Edition v10, a mix that got way out of control as far as I'm concerned. It's not that the music isn't any good, but I really need to learn how to start editing myself...LOL. If I had to rate this overall series, I'd probably give it a B+ taking off points for being bloated if not overindulgent. At least now I can start focusing on the next House Edition which will be a serious departure from these progressive tunes. I already see some issues regarding length there, but I'll do my best to keep it down to two mixes, each within a reasoned timeframe. It's not that I can't do it, it's just that sometimes I kinda let the music take me away; can you say "ground control to Major Tom"? That being said, Party Favorz wants to know what you think. Was this overindulgent on my part, was it just right or did it flat out suck? Leave me your thoughts, I promise not to take offense...well maybe...LOL.
Tomorrow, I have the next installment of the guest DJ series featuring DJ Mikey Cee from down under. After previewing his mixes, I can honestly say he doesn't disappoint. For now, just sit back and relax...and as always, ENJOY!

As promised, I've got the third installment of this series for you guys (and gals). Unlike its predecessors, this mix is darker and moodier and less commercial. That is until you get to the last song, Morgan Page's latest offering which is more mainstream prog. I'll be back tomorrow with the final installment and then I can move on to the next House Edition which will be a definite change of mood.
I see that our subscriptions have gone up considerably ever since I joined the Widgetbox LGBT community. I want to welcome all of the newbies. Just so you know, the Deep series is not for everyone (particularly in the U.S.). Stick around because there's always something for everyone.
I hope everyone has a great work week...Enjoy!

Sorry for the delay in getting this out today. I've been bogged down with router issues and on the phone with Linksys pretty much all morning. Then, my mom calls and she's having computer problems. Since she's in Texas and I'm in Georgia, I usually just log into her computer and fix whatever needs fixing. This time, her monitor is out. After troubleshooting with her over the phone, I came to the conclusion she needs a new monitor. Of course, she decided it would be best to get a newer and faster computer...LOL. All she needed was an excuse to take it to my dad (even if her CPU was fine, he doesn't know anything about computers).
Anyway, I can use my employee discount from Dell and pick out a really sweet deal for her. I called a buddy of mine back home who's in IT, and he agreed to go over and set it up for her and transfer all of her files at no charge. At least, that will save me a lot of time on the phone with her. I went ahead and got her the 4 year extended warranty so I can now just refer her to Dell when she has a problem...LOL. I built my computer about 2 1/2 years ago and was thinking about swapping the motherboard and processor out this next month. However, looking at Dell and the current prices with my discount, I could pick up what I want for about the same price with an extended warranty...so I'm thinking what the heck. My car is all taken care of and I do love new stuff like computers and stereo equipment. I don't know, sometimes I just can't help myself. As you can probably guess, next to house music and mixing, gadgets are my thing. I definitely get on a high when I buy something new to play and tinker around with.
Anyway, I finally got this post put together for your listening pleasure and will try to have the third installment up early tomorrow so I can get back on the phone with Linksys and troubleshoot with their "expert" or so I'm told. In keeping with Take 1, this mix is ultra-long. Hey, who was it that said: "excess is best". Okay, that may not always be true, but in this case, I think it applies. I also got a notice that I received another donation from IK in the UK. Thank you very much, and folks keep 'em coming. Like I said, I'll be in the clear next month so every little bit helps. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend and I'll be back tomorrow with Take 3. Until then...ENJOY!

Deep Edition 2008 Volume 10 [Take 1]

It's been one heck of a week that had me running around like a chicken with my head cut off. After having my car engine replaced (thank God for that 100,000 mile warranty) and replacing my brakes, I finally got all new tires and my car runs like new. Not that anyone gives a rat's ass, but for me that's great...LOL! Frankly, I had finished these mixes up about 2 weeks ago and decided to go back yesterday and start going through them. I went back to Beatport and purchased four more songs and dropped them in where appropriate. For the most part, this turned out to be a massive four set mix that was pretty much done in one take (with the exception of the new additions). Only one song got the edit treatment on Take 4, because it clocked in at 11:00, which is way too long. Finding it difficult to edit myself this go around, I stopped each mix when I encountered a roadblock; meaning when I couldn't find a way to mix out of the last song or just didn't want to bother. Regardless, this entire four set is comprised of deep, progressive and tech house with a good deal of mainstream prog in the mix. Figuring that no one was feeling my last Deep Edition, I decided to give the people what they want. Considering the majority of these mixes were all completed in one take, I have to say I kicked some serious ass! Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but yeah, it's that good. Sometimes, my best work is done without second guessing myself and this would be a perfect example.
From now until the end of the month, it's going to be busy, busy, busy! I'll be releasing one mix a day through Tuesday of this series and hope to have my next House Edition up by the next weekend. For those of you that are big fans of my Beach House series that I put out in July, you'll be pleased to know that this mix follows in that same vein. It's all about frivolous, fun and funky house...yeah baby! After that, I'll be upping my Halloween Edition which is shaping up quite nicely. I put that one off because I'm waiting on the new Britney, Debby Holiday, Deborah Cox and Madonna tunes to drop. If they don't, they'll be pushed out to my Holiday Edition in December. In addition to all this goodness, I have about three more guest DJ sets I'll be showcasing in the next few weeks. So, we gotta a lot in store for you guys. From progressive, electro, funky and mainstream, there will be something for everyone and enough to make your ears bleed.
Financially, I'll be out of the woods next month, so in the meantime, if you could find it in your heart to make a donation to help cover my Podbean charges by the end of the month, that would be greatly appreciated. I do want to thank DB for his recent $20 donation, that was very generous. I hope everyone has a great weekend and be sure to check back each day for the next take on this series. In the meantime, sit back and listen to the sounds of the underground and as always...ENJOY!

Electro-Funk Edition 2008 Volume 8 (Take 3)
Saturday Oct 04, 2008
Saturday Oct 04, 2008
Wrapping things up with the third and final installment of the Electro-Funk Edition v8, I'm giving you a mix a bit longer than the first two. I have to tell you, this is quite possibly the most difficult mix I've made all year long. First I started out with over 240 mediocre songs and what looked like a four mix set. Fortunately, a lot of great stuff came out between the time I started this mix about 3 weeks ago and now.
My process is usually to preview all the songs that I want to use for a specific mix and then start the process of elimination, giving each song about 10 seconds before I make up my mind. Then I throw everything together in one giant mix, burn it to mp3 disc and preview it (in my car, at home or in the gym) and decide which final songs will make the cut. Then I go back and do the official mix generally in one take and edit down as necessary. This go around, I had a bitch of a time deciding what to keep and what to throw out. Even after I made my final decisions, about 1/4 of the songs had mismatched beats. Meaning, they were way off. Usually, I expect a few, but this was way too many.
So then, I had to painstakingly go back and manually adjust the beats to line them up. Talk about a fracking pain in the ass. Regardless, I got up early this morning to finish this final mix so I can enjoy the rest of my day. I hope I caught everything, because sometimes at 2:00 in the morning, I'm not necessarily all there if you know what I mean. The next Deep Edition is starting to shape up that way as well, though the majority of the songs appear to be mixing together quite nicely, so the only issue is what to get rid of. I'm going to try to keep it down to a three mix set with each mix coming under 80 minutes. That mix should be out this next week sometime and then I'll start working on the Halloween Edition.
I've also got our next guest DJ lined up, and this is something you gotta hear. I'll get into details this next week when I post the mix, but I will say that it's deep, dark and FIERCE!
In the meantime, I hope everyone has a great weekend and as always...ENJOY!

Track : 1
Title : Let It Go (Stonebridge Vocal Mix)
Artist : Stonebridge & Wawa
I'm not really sure why these two had to collaborate on something either one of them could have easily done themselves. Frankly, I was expecting a lot more.
Track : 2
Title : Angel On My Shoulder (Funkerman Mix)
Artist : Kaskade
What a completely different track compared to the original or the awesome progressive EDX mix. Certainly Funkerman tailor made this for the floor to great effect. Essential.
Track : 3
Title : Shut Up And Let Me Go (Chris Lake U.K. Vocal)
Artist : The Ting Tings
I've already used the Johnny Vicious mix back in Pride and more recently the kickass Seamus Haji mix in my Electro-Funk v7 from August. So why go back now and add the Chris Lake mix? Why not...this is the song that just keeps on giving. Essential.
Track : 4
Title : I Want To Be Evil (Spencer & Hill Remix)
Artist : Giant JT vs. Eartha Kitt
Delectable, delightful and absolutely DELICIOUS! Always love me some Eartha and this doesn't disappoint. Now I'm hoping someone will go back and give us some 2008 mixes of 'Where Is My Man". Essential.
Track : 5
Title : Last Goodbye (Spencer & Hill Remix)
Artist : Avenue
I know you must be thinking, Keith a fracking boy band??? What the fu....? Folks, trust me on this one. Think of it like eating cotton candy. Tastes really sweet, but doesn't last near as long as it should, so you gotta go back and get some more. Ear candy at its best! Essential.
Track : 6
Title : They Said I Said (Sunset Strippers Vocal Mix)
Artist : Sugarush Beat Company
Totally all over the original of this song. If you get a chance, check out the amazing video for this it.

Album : Electro-Funk Edition v8
Genre : Electro, Funky, Progressive, Trance
Year : 2008
Total Time : 1:19:15:00
Track : 1
Title : I Surrender (PF Pumping Extended Mix)
Artist : Kate Ryan
Hi-NRG electro-pop track with mainstream appeal. Sugary? Yeah. Infectious? You bet. Personally can't get this one out of my head. Should do very well at radio as well as the floor. Look out for Kate's new album 'Free'. Outstanding.
Track : 2
Title : Heaven Can Wait (Chris The Greek Mix Extended)
Artist : Luvndreams feat. Elisa Rodriguez
Track : 3
Title : Move (Soul Avengerz Mix)
Artist : Soul Avengerz feat. Zena Chavez
Serious electro-funk with some serious vocals that cannot be denied. Massive floor filler is the best way to describe this song with a really deep groove. This further proves that the Soul Avengerz are in complete control and delivering some of the best beats so far this year. Essential.
Track : 4
Title : You Make Me Feel (Extended Mix)
Artist : AnnaGrace
Song has already hit dance radio and is currently moving up Billboard's Club Charts. With a variety of mixes, what's not to like. You want funk...got it. You prefer electro...got it. Need some more radio friendly...got that too. Essential.
Track : 5
Title : Medicine (Extended)
Artist : Kim Leoni
Track : 6
Title : Like The Way I Do (Sunloverz Remix)
Artist : 2-4 Grooves
Unlikely remake of the Melissa Etheridge classic. With it's deep electro grooves, this works on all levels. Heck, even the vocals recall Melissa's awesome rendition. Outstanding.
Track : 7
Title : Grass Is Greener (Original Club Mix)
Artist : Dave Aude feat. Sisley Treasure
The first release from Dave's label is a serious dancefloor contender. This is my current pick to click. Expect this to blow up very soon. Also watch out for the kick-ass Jody Den Broeder mix.
Track : 8
Title : Up (Riffs & Rays Remix)
Artist : The Saturdays
Track : 9
Title : Irresistible (Stonebridge Club Mix)
Artist : Tom Belton
Track : 10
Title : Dream On (Warren Clarke Club Mix)
Artist : Christian Falk feat. Robyn
Christian Falk is a Swedish producer/artist and has teamed up with Robyn for his latest album 'People Say'. Warren delivers an uncharacteristic 80s electro mix that would fit nicely into any John Hughes soundtrack. It's not difficult to picture Cyndi Lauper singing this song. Be sure to check out the equally amazing Moto Blanco mix. Essential.
Track : 11
Title : Turn The Tide (Orginal Mix)
Artist : Manian feat. Aila
Picture song #1 with a slight early millennium Ibiza beat. Sugar-coated electro pop that's sure to please even the most finicky sourpuss. Essential.
Track : 12
Title : Touch Me (Bart B. More Remix)
Artist : Bingo Players vs. Chocolate Puma
Yeah, like this song needs anymore attention. Essential.
Track : 13
Title : Smash Disco (Vandalism V8 Mix)
Artist : Vandalism
Fun electro in the form of something the Starkillers might put out. With silly lyrics that are easy to remember, I can see every electro-queer shaking their ass off on the floor. I'm not saying there's anything original about this, but it ranks high on the fun factor scale. Essential.
Track : 14
Title : Stop (Diego Donati vs. F&A Factor Club Mix)
Artist : Consoul Trainin feat. Joan Kolova
Fabulous electro-house with beautiful vocals and wonderful lyrics. Currently one of my favorite spins. Also check out the amazing Rivaz & Zucchi Club Mix which drops the chorus down to a slinky little jazzy affair. Absolutely ESSENTIAL!

Electro-Funk Edition 2008 Volume 8 (Take 1)
Thursday Oct 02, 2008
Thursday Oct 02, 2008
I woke up this morning to find a deep chill in the air. I like to sit on the patio and have my morning cup of coffee and just kinda meditate in the dark, but I went back in to grab my sweats because my bones just couldn't take it. Regardless, the sun is already coming out and I can see blue skies for the remainder of the day. Yet again, another wonderful fall day here in the ATL.
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to post this until next week; thankfully an anonymous donor contributed the $40 necessary to keep my Podbean account alive. That's a good thing because this is the first of three mixes to be posted over the next few days for volume 8 of the Electro-Funk series. I'm almost finished with the next Deep Edition which will be up next week. Since I moved all my Guest DJ mixes up, there may be a gap between now and the next mix. I guess that's okay considering my self-imposed rest never got off the ground. As you can see by the 'Coming Soon' preview to your left, I've got a ton of stuff scheduled to come out between now and early November.
This month, I'm still not out of the woods, as I'll be buying all new tires for my car next week, plus it's time to renew the tags. So, $5 donations to the site are certainly welcome to help things keep chugging smoothly along. Barring any unforeseen incidents, I should be back to normal next month.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy...I'll be back tomorrow with take 2. Have a great day!

Title : Love Hangover (DJ Spen Club Mix)
Artist : Joey Negro
A re-work of Joey's remake from back in the 90s. Though I'm not familiar with the original, I gotta say that DJ Spen's mix works on so many levels. Basically this mix retains the integrity of the original, while delivering something fresh, phatt and phunky for today's dancefloor. Essential.
Track : 2
Title : Givin' All My Love (Original 12'' Vocal Mix)
Artist : Starjackers feat. Wilson Roberts
Track : 3
Title : Changes (Chris Lake Vocal Mix)
Artist : Will Young
The UK inaugural 'Pop Idol' winner returns with a great bluesy tune re-worked by the very talented Chris Lake. With its thumping bassline and Chris' breathy vocals, what's not to like. Currently in my top ten must play list. Essential.
Track : 4
Title : Sunglasses At Night (Carl Kennedy Remix)
Artist : Carl Kennedy feat. Peter Millwood
Back in the late eighties, some friends and I headed out to Austin's (TX) infamous 6th street for partying. I remember flying high as a kite and having a great time barhopping and just being as loud as possible. Around midnight, two tweens passed us on the sidewalk with sunglasses on. Being my usual obnoxious self who feels compelled to point out the pretentiousness of others, I turned around and began singing as loud as I could the Corey Hart song famous at the time. My friends and I followed them as they joined in the course until they ducked into a bar and were promptly thrown out for being underage. We all just busted a gut laughing at the expense of someone else's idiocy. Oh, and the song...true to the original and will definitely have the floor moving.
Track : 5
Title : All Alone (Love Assassins Vocal Dub)
Artist : Filthy Louca
I absolutely adore this song. It reminds very much of the huge Layo & Bushwacka 'Love Story' from back in 2002. Just one listen and you too will be addicted. This deserves to be MASSIVE! Essential.
Track : 6
Title : Tomorrow (Jean Claude Ades Remix)
Artist : The Kiosk
Electro floor stormer with a very unique guitar twist. Unusual for today's dance mixes but very catchy. With a strong vocal performance provided by an uncredited singer, this is another song that deserves some serious recognition. "Tomorrow will be a good day"...indeed. Essential.
Track : 7
Title : Deep In My Soul (Darren Glen Remix)
Artist : J. Nitti feat. Sarah C

The first day of Autumn is almost here, and the weather in the ATL is certainly fitting. We finally got some sun yesterday, so it was only fair for me to get out and fart around the city. Sorry, but the day was too nice to stay at home and work on the next post. Besides, I had to get some car work done...LOL. Actually, I wish I had a laptop so I could get two things done at once. If I'm going to be sitting around the dealership for a couple of hours, might as well take advantage of the wasted time. Their coffee and stale donuts don't exactly carry a person for very long. Oh well, it's finally here and ready for your listening pleasure. Just remember, this take contains more gray than color, so it is definitely deeper and darker than its predecessor.
I'll be finishing up the cover art for our next guest, DJ Steve Henderson out of Chicago. This guy has a resume that puts most to shame, so I'm really excited about what he's going to drop on us. I hope everyone has a fabo weekend and until the next time...ENJOY!
